    This hit me when you said his birthday. Mine is at the end of January same year. My birthday is always low key or non existant bc of weather. Thinking I would feel bad about this yet how many birthdays I have been blessed with. So sorry David.

    From Google Maps, it looks like everything happened within a 500-foot radius. Of course, we don't know where the restaurant was, or which church. But there is a church and several restaurants close to the short street he lived on. The perp was most likely somebody local.

    What kind of caregiver assumes a child is home and asleep without laying eyes on them or speaking to them before bed? And if they thought he had spent the night with a friend, then why worry in the morning? Why not check around with his friends first? I can't help wondering if someone in the house killed him and hid the body. If there was abuse in the home, they wouldn't likely have outed himself.

    I cannot imagine the agony the family must've gone through / continue to go through. Losing your child like that would be enough to drive a parent far beyond the edge of sanity - and heartbreak too. All while he was possibly doing a good deed for somebody. The somebody who'd most likely harmed your baby.

      McDonalds used to do that in the 70’s.
      An “A” got you a Hamburger

      A third got you a small drink.
      It went on for years.

      Just a few years ago I saw a sign at a local comic book shop for a free comic book for every A on your report card. In the 80s and 90s Pizza Hut had a program where they gave free pizza to students for a certain number of books read. We definitely need more student reward programs.

    His family didn’t notice he was missing until the next day because his bed looked like he slept in it? He was 12. I don’t believe a word of what the family was saying. The Aunt and Uncle publicly blaming people living out of state and then switching to stranger danger. I’d say look closer at those two.

    How can this kid in the video be called bright if he is in the 4th grade and 12? He is at least a couple years behind. Right off the gate, the story doesnt add up.

    Poor kid didn't stand a chance, kids don't care if relatives or Foster parents bring them up with love, it's about the mum that you feel robbed of, I don't care who it upsets, it's true, I know. No one clearly cared or he wouldn't of been in his situation at 12!!! They didn't know he was missing because they wasn't caring for him, they arranged his bedsheets like it to cover neglect.

    • @michelleprieur1
      @michelleprieur1 9 місяців тому +3

      Oh, please. The mother wasn't mature enough. Crap happens. His grandmother clearly loved him, and his mother was an active part of his life. In the 80s, it was perfectly normal for kids to play outside and wander. I grew up in that time, and it was very common. Plenty of people are raised by grandparents, adoptive parents, aunts and uncles, etc. Wouldn't have been in that "situation if someone cared"? Ridiculous. So no child has ever gone missing if their mother was raising them? News to me!! Grow up.
      I noticed that you didn't vilify the father, even though it was clearly stated that he didn't give even half a crap. Interesting how it's always the mom's fault.
