That was actually very educational Gary. Didn't really know what to expect. One of those 50/50 moments. Gold up, gold down, gotta be somewhere around! There really must be some very good gold in that river and it must be coming from somewhere? The top of that cliff? 20 miles up-stream? Would you find gold right to the top of the cliff? Your vid really makes a person wonder. Are you going back there for another look? That would really be interesting. Once again, top vid from a top bloke :)

You need to make a vac pack for those crevasses that you cant reach with your huntly spoon. Maybee a like 3/4 inch line to get down and hopefully just pan if at the end of the day you might just suck up a big nugget

I found today in Rio Verde AZ a nugget .56 grams and a small little dot some crazy number like .002 ...... We did the panning way ......
I found an area that had a fallen small tree high on the bank with dry algae and plants with rotten carrots and it was only about 8" inches above the bedrock that ran all the way down to the river ..... I dug (3) pans and bam ...... Gold in the third pan ..... My friend told me there isn't shit there ......
I could see that the water ran high on that bank maybe 8-10 feet up the bank during flash flooding ........ Thanks for your video Gary , you have thought me a lot ... I also saw where people dug hundreds of holes, possibly with metal detectors......
