- How I remove the fender pan and foot rest on a 425 445 and 455. You need a couple adjustable wrenches, 10 mm wrenches, ratchets, and sockets, along with a pair of pliers.
Thanks for the demo of how it should be done. I've had my 425 since 1993 and have never had these panels off of the machine.
Congrats and great to hear that your 425 is still trucking along!
@@mmrbeef - I just completed a complete rebuild of the FD610D and replaced the plastic cam gear with a metal one and had the engine machined and 50 over pistons and rings installed. Runs like a top now with no smoking. Just added a front quick hitch and bucket and will be getting a grapple soon.
Concise, straightforward and informative! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 😉
I have a 425 with 4 wheel steer. It’s a pretty cool tractor.
Great video thank you
Easy to understand and thank you!!
Appreciate the videos very much. Question I have a John Deere 455 diesel and when the mower blades get any kind of load on them it disengages the blades. I can back up turn the blades off and turn them back on, but when I start mowing and it gets any kind of load disengages the blades. Mower doesn't stop running at all. Even pushing the brake too hard will disengage the blades any thoughts or ideas what's wrong?
That was a sudden stop there at the end. I had my seat belt on or I would have hit my face on the tv.

I am trying to make my videos shorter and I am still learning not to drone on and one about trivial stuff. There is no way for me to compete with "episode" based channels so I am going to transition to mostly "repair" type videos that are less than 15 minutes... at least that is my goal. There may be an occasional longer update or use video but I don't have time to try and build the channel that way. There just isn't the interest, views, or right with the algorithm.
@@mmrbeef Great! The repair videos are what drew me as a subscriber. But the other videos you do are a nice break from wrenching. I wish I had the ambition to record content like you do. I had great opportunity last Fall to do a 322 steering rebuild that saved me $1200 alone on estimated JD dealer labor for a $100 kit. Took me 3hrs first time, then 1/2 that after finding out I had one plate rotated 90º. I have a couple 455's also and your videos are great asset to quick repairs and diagnostics.
@@mmrbeef I wasn't complaining my friend, I was trying to be funny. I love your video content and style just the way it is. I personally appreciate the 'personal' flavor. I stop in here just to see whatever it is you may happen to be doing just like if I was visiting a friend or family member.

How is johndeere 318 . Doing. What do I look for on a johndeere 318 when buying it. Because I am getting a new garage building this summer and also get a johndeere 318 this fall. With mower deck snow plow.
HI, Been a sub for a while now. Recently bought a 425 AWS The rear wheels wobble pretty good on sharp turns. Is this normal? I figured it was like a 4x4 truck with front axle joints binding up when turning pretty sharp. Also would like to know if you've made a video on removing the rear axle on one of these machines to service the u joints and such. Thanks for all the info you put up on the 318 and the 425 garden tractors.
I’ve owned so few AWS units I’ve never done a video on them. Sorry I’m not more up to date on them.
Fun,fun,fun😊
Whats the purpose?
If you need to service the driveshaft and/or the transmission this would be the first step.
