I stopped by Angel City Guitars about a week ago and stumbled across this guitar (among so many wonderful guitars in their shop). Olay Andac made some pointers for me when I explained what I was interested in trying. He told me about this LSL Paulownia T style guitar and he gave me plenty of time to try it in the store on a couple of different amps. In the end, I walked out with this guitar, at a very fair price, and I can’t put it down. The other guitar player on our tour said “that guitar plays itself” when he tried it. It sounds like a country tele should on the bridge pickup and that fat warm humbucker can handle rock to jazz tones. It is a very versatile sounding guitar. I also really like the Paulownia wood - it is very lite - like a great old tele should feel. And the roasted neck makes it so easy to play with 6105 frets. Finally, it goes without saying that it looks great too. Hats off to LSL for making such a stand out instrument and thank you to Olay for dialing it up for me - I appreciate your good ear.
