Hi, do you find that it could do with a 6th gear in mways? Mine sounds like it's in 3rd not 5th lol, 70mph is 3000rpm?. But then I HAVE just swapped from a 6 speed 1.6 CDTI. I just really wish it had a 6th gear
the engine is too weak for sixth speed

When I rented a learner car the driving is nice other than the loose af steering wheel
You might have had the city mode on. It makes the steering really light
I have one of these in Silver. 2017 66 plate (although now has a private plate on) with 23,000 miles on the clock. Mine has the earlier leather steering wheel but the same later gauges and R4 radio. Very rare in a 5 door. Only £30 a year road tax and for a non turbo it's pretty nippy. Stuck a K&N panel air filter on and it helps the lower end pick up. These are 90ps, not 88. Do you find leaving it in 3rd and knocking it into 4th at 60 when accelerating gives it a bit more kick as I find that's where my flat spot is?
I have the exact same car and spec but the early 2017 model, and it feels oddly satisfying watching someone else drive like this

Surprisingly good. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from 88bhp but was quite impressed
@@andyguk I have the previous model to this only it's a 1.2. Its a nice car but the performance is not very good. I've been told I should have went for 1.4.
@@kevthedynamo I used to have a 1.2 Corsa D and it was as slow as anything. I have the same car as the one POV is driving in this video but in Silver. It's a 90ps 1.4 and packs a punch for a non turbo. It's pretty nippy.
