I was lucky enough to visit Bhutan in 2005 and again in 2011. They were just starting to build their five star resorts then. This resort is gorgeous! We stayed in new hotels for the time but they would be considered basic 2-3 star hotels by American standards. Clean but simple. Even so, Bhutan was still an amazing experience. Well worth the expense and effort!
Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful choice of music once again as always. I love watching your content before I head off to bed, as it put me in a great state of mind and relaxation.
Yea...! You have finally arrived in Bhutan! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. This review is probably the first thorough proper review of any hotel in Bhutan. This place looks extremely well crafted as with all Six Senses. I stayed at a luxury resort in Paro called Nak-Sel which is really nice especially for the greater level of Bhutan artistic and architectural style.
Beautiful video, please don’t ever change how you film them. Bhutan seems like a lovely country and I especially like that they have a Happiness Philosophy, wish the world would adopt it.
Breathtaking--literally! Even at 8.000 ft I'd need an oxygen mask--I live about 10 feet above sea level ;) Gorgeous premises and rooms. Eggs bene Bhutan-style! The food looked scrumptious! The pools were magnificent, as were the mountains! So tranquil. Thank you, Dr. LTE!
Bhutan 🇧🇹 is the most lovely and peaceful place, all is natural. Lovely people.and beautiful heart ❤️,someday I will visit. Thank you so much for beautiful video.God bless and peace grace 🙏🦋💕🌸
Your videos are having a soothing effect on nerves. It's calm you. Music also exceptional. One of the best UA-cam channel. I am so overhelmed that intentionality I don't skip advertisement. Kudos.
I've always been interested in visiting Bhutan, even with the pricey visa and dicey air approach. Still not one traffic light in the entire country. Great mountain biking and hiking opportunities. The Highlands Festival also sounds nice. Glad to see you do a video there.
Amazing video! I am really inspired by your work and I am planning my dream-travel using your blog. It's still quite some time before I save up enough to travel, but I will eventually get there!
Beautiful hotel!.Cozy and very nice place!.It would be interesting to have more local costumes described,in the next video. For instance,I didn´t know that the national sport was the archery. The hotel and the place where it is located is breathtaking!!!.
Wow Himalayas are heaven ! I am proud to have 2nd highest mountain in my country Pakistan ! I don’t know so far if i would be able to land at Paro airport or not because i got scared even after ur video , but thanks for showing me six senses even if i don’t visit Bhutan !
So beautiful, but it seems like there were not many guests there. The food looked amazing! This is the type of place I would not mind staying at one bit. Thank you for the video! :)
Anybody else notice that the Expert was having trouble breathing. Being nearly 8,000 ft above sea level, the reduced air pressure can cause high altitude sickness. Something to consider before booking that flight, otherwise another beautiful video.
can you please label all the food you eat and film at resorts and flights? the fanciness on a plate always seem something unreal like "wagnu beef sorbets" :p thank you
I was soo soo happy when I found that six senses were being added to IHG portfolio. They already have the six senses Singapore available to book with points, only 50k a night 😎
I noticed several radiators in the room. Is there central heating or are all those portable heaters sufficient to keep the room warm enough during the night time? Also, is there a recommended time of year to visit Bhutan?
No pictures on walls; no pictures anywhere? I wonder if that is Buddhist thing? I read up on wiki Bhutan and that didn't give me any clue either. Love the video, scenery, and as always, the food!. Thank you for sharing sir.
Thank you for sharing this amazing lodge. Beautifully presented. Video presentation is amazing and crisp. I've been to Bhutan before this lodge was built. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Amazing contents. Theres still something off with the pictures. Idk, is it because the camera or the upload. It would be more amazing if you can show a better picture. Thanks
Great video as always. Hotel looks stunning, that lobby and the sunken pool is gorgeous. However, the grounds look so very sandy and barren, like an unfinished building site or parking lot? Like someone hadn’t bothered to finish the build. The view also seems “nice enough” but frankly doesn’t seem to be worth the trip, it looks more like a hilly landscape anywhere than somewhere in the tallest mountain range in the world! The room design also doesn’t scream “luxury” (other than the amazing bathroom!), I’ve been in dirt-cheap chalets that looked better...
Wow, you're videos are Soo relaxing and soothing. I watch these to just Breathe and Relax... You'll never know How much this helps me! Thank You!
I'm speachless and breathless... That's paradise on earth.

Thank you for your kind comment. I tried to match the serene hotel ambiance with a tranquil soundtrack ;-)
@@luxurytravelexpert Beautiful job, well done. :)
the Luxury Travel Expert I presume the soundtrack is also from Epidemic music?
It is even better to stay for a period of time,in a hotel like this one to reach this state of mind, instead.
Its so quiet, peaceful & serene, ...a slice of paradise

Every Saturday I am eagerly waiting your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your trips with us.
True Paradise of heaven on earth; Thank you for giving us a grand Tour of this hotel . My mind is decided - Bhutan is my ideal retreat haven.
Beautiful video, please don’t ever change how you film them. Bhutan seems like a lovely country and I especially like that they have a Happiness Philosophy, wish the world would adopt it.
Gosh these six senses lodges must be major competition for Amankora! Beautiful hotel!
Amazing! Really appreciate your silent work! Your presentation is top-notch.

Thank you for your kind comment (as always). Enjoy beautiful San Francisco!
En regardant la vidéo nous sommes relaxés. Quelle sérénité et toujours une belle musique pour accompagner la visite. Merci

You conjure up places that seem impossible to exist ~ serene and contemplative, one could soak in the majestic peaks while soaking in healing waters !

I did Cusco and Machu Picchu last year. It's no joke.
8,000 feet isn't that bad.
I can stay
I'm at bhutan already too late
most awaiting video
Great place
Great scenes
Great vdo
Unusual video in that some guests are shown close up and we caught a glimpse of you in a mirror, not just a hand or leg.
Since you have been traveling and living in many many luxury hotels, what do you think the biggest difference between Six Sense and Aman?
Very beautiful scenery 😎😎
Amazing. I also love Aman Resort and Hotel.
Amazing place! 💙💙
A beautiful virtual experience! Re dining, what is the tipping custom in Bhutan? Thanks!
can you please label all the food you eat and film at resorts and flights? the fanciness on a plate always seem something unreal like "wagnu beef sorbets" :p
thank you
Jadha
We stayed in this resort in Jan. 2020. Wonderful
I was soo soo happy when I found that six senses were being added to IHG portfolio. They already have the six senses Singapore available to book with points, only 50k a night 😎
Super! I haven't word's what a beaty!
Beautiful hotel 👍🏻
I noticed several radiators in the room. Is there central heating or are all those portable heaters sufficient to keep the room warm enough during the night time? Also, is there a recommended time of year to visit Bhutan?
Yes, the heaters are enough to keep the room warm. Best time to visit Bhutan is March-April (spring) and October-November (autumn).
Beauty everywhere there 👌🙋😊💓
I am curious... how did you handle the high altitude and did the hotel have breathing rooms?
very beautifull and mesmarizing.
AMAZING 👏👍
I was planning my trip to Bhutan and was wondering which of the 3 lodges you stayed at were the nicest. Please let me know. Thank you, Ved
I liked the Paro lodge the most
@@luxurytravelexpert Ok, thank you for responding quickly
7:07 um... are you telling me you shoot these videos on an iPhone without a gimbal?! 👏👏👏 to you, Sir!
Simply beautiful, thank you 🙇
Besides expensive visa about $250 a day, this Lodge is very awesome ❤
who cares about the visa if you have to pay 2000$ a night for the lodge
There’s a new hotel called shinta mani in mustang, nepal! I hope you’ll be able to review it soon 😁
SPECTACULAR
Your videos always stunning, sir. I am curious about the lunch. Is it per package or did you order a la carte? Because there are so many of it.
No pictures on walls; no pictures anywhere? I wonder if that is Buddhist thing? I read up on wiki Bhutan and that didn't give me any clue either. Love the video, scenery, and as always, the food!. Thank you for sharing sir.
Nice hotel at nice location in beautiful country. Hotel Taj Tashi is also very nice in Thimpu.
Wow! beautiful views
Spectacular!
Wonderful !!!!
This is great for relaxing not crowded so peaceful
Thank you for sharing this amazing lodge. Beautifully presented. Video presentation is amazing and crisp. I've been to Bhutan before this lodge was built. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Thank you. I loved my stay indeed.
@@luxurytravelexpert Your welcome. I'm glad you loved your stay there.
I think rich people who want to escape from busy and crowded city life should go there.
Will you ever stay at nyc four season hotel near central park? That would be amazing
Mind blowing
can you do a tour of Palau Pacific Resort in palau?
Amazing contents. Theres still something off with the pictures. Idk, is it because the camera or the upload. It would be more amazing if you can show a better picture.
Thanks
Thank you for the video.
i would love to go there
So tranquil
Taj is one of my favorite brand
How did you get to this resort? Fly into Bangladesh then drive the 18 hours?
Fly into Paro 😉
Very nice!
Thanks!
LOVE FROM INDIA
Immaculate hotel.
But somebody please explain what's this malarkey ''love from India/israel/pakistan''? It's taken over youtube.
0:44 - 0:50 thought those were IV bags for a few seconds lol
26:44 , is that You ?
Why there are no trees on the moutains ?

The resort grounds look barren because I visited the property right after it opened (landscaping was still taking place)
que lugar maravilhoso
um verdadeiro paraiso
