You guys always request to see more of my clients and techniques in the salon so in collaboration with Redken, who has asked me to demonstrate my favorite "high voltage blonde" balayage technique I bring you this video! Watch as I turn my new client Colleen from a warm dark blonde to a "high voltage" blonde with tons of depth and dimension and pops of bright blonde. I hope you found this technique helpful!

I just LOOOOOVE that you didn't curl her hair but left it natural instead. What's that obsession with curling the client's hair after coloring it??? Is it a way to hide the imperfections of the results? Anyway, this is one amazing color! So nicely done.

katebeautyx When you find that rare unicorn, let me know too please!!
I've tried nearly every salon and I've even driven out to Worcestershire (yes, I did!). I found a guy in Worcester at Umberto that literally did expensive looking blondes, like Elle, and guess what... he left after a year and I was left with badly dyed blonde. I've even gone to so called ColourAward winners... leaving with nearly grey ash horridness that lasted two washes because they covered the mistake in toner...
I don't know why UK salons can't get blonde right, they want to make it nasty and over processed😕🤔 why ?

Seagreentangerine I absolutely agree hun! I don’t trust anybody which is why I am doing my own balayage/babylights BUT you can imagine how hard it is to do the back because I can’t see it. I told hubby am ready to fly out to SF and book in with Silvia herself 😩

    • @katebeautyx8393

Seagreentangerine oh, yes... and I believe its a matter of product choice too. I have been using the Goldwell platinum blonde + 40 Developer and + olaplex but it doesn’t lift quite well, so I think I will splurge and get the redken lift + ph bonder kit

    Your awesome! 😍
I wanna go blonde but think it will cost too much, when I tried going blonde at home it took 3-4 lots of the whitest blonde to even get slight yellow and the older I've gotten dye just doesn't seem to work like it did when I was younger I don't know if my hair has changed drastically because the rest of my family can dye theirs easily without problems. If it's that bad I can see the regrowth being a pain in the butt.

I have this weird patch (weird because it's in the front of my head) the patch is grey, but more like silver/white. My natural hair color is med brown with auburn. I used to die my own hair out of a box, yes I fried it but learned not to lift it too high...on my own. Will bleach hurt grey/silver hair? Should I do highlights and leave it alone to look normal? And if I DO put bleach on it, what will it do? I like my hair dark blonde, but now with this patch, I have no idea what to do. Thanks to anyone that has an answer :)
