Hey Fondue! Thanks so much for this honest, in-depth demonstration. Also it's always heartwarming to hear positive comments about our compositions. I'd like to mention that the dScryb audio library will also feature other artists validated by us (MGS): Adrian von Ziegler, ASKII, and plenty other famous TTRPG music composers.
Sometimes you waste a ton of time on UA-cam going through useless, badly made tutorials. And sometimes you find a video like this with comprehensive and detail oriented information that you’ve been looking for. Thanks!
I just subscribed to the monthly celestial tier, just to find out the dScryb Sonic Library is for ANNUAL subscribers only, despite it telling me I was unlocking everything. dScryb is a good service but shady, money hungry, tactics like that is making me cancel my sub.
Oh my god the Preview is amazing. I never remember the audio tracks and the ones I want so all of a sudden I start playing something completely off tone for the scene. Haha.
Great module! been having a bunch of issues though, it seems to like to import masses of text documents which slows stuff down, completely broke my game a for a few days but the music is great, just moving to the music only subscription for now.
The usability of this is better compared to Syrinscape but I think Syrinscape is better for adventures like Curse of Strahd with their soundscapes specifically made for all locations in the adventures
Totally get that! Unfortunately I’m not aware of any free alternative that is as good UX wise as dscryb. Pocket Bard is really good and free but it doesn’t have a Foundry integration
I love System of a Down but I honestly have to say, seeing them live was disappointing. Maybe they had an off day but …. For me : Disturbed , Korn, 311, Tool and a lot of classic rock .

Hey Michael! Thank you for the kind words and additional details! Your work is truly fantastic!

Glad I could help!

He literally says it's only available on annual purchases at around 5:10
@@TheEnglishboxer they should update their website to reflect that then
Thank you, finding music, ambiance and sound effects is an uphill battle. This sounds like exactly what I need.
You’re welcome!
Definitely, giving this a try right now to use it in my session tonight. Amazing service and thanks for the heads up!
Thank you for the simple and precise tutorial. Keep up the good work!

Yeah the previews are great!
Trying this now.
Favorite music genre? I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I will say that I was listening to sea shanties long before Wellerman became a meme.
Viking folk is my favorite. Bands like Wardruna and heilung.
Good ones indeed!

how do you get the dscryb battlemaps?
So how do you like this compared to Syrinscape ? And you had me at Michael Ghelfi. Amazing content. 😂

Before I use dscryb, how do you stream it on discord?
As much as i love the concept of the ease of dscryb, is there a less expensive way that's also not so clunky as the default?

I saw SoaD live back in 2011 and it was a great show! Sad to hear you had a disappointing experience with them. Good choices!
Why does EVERYTHING decent in Foundry require a subscription?
