Outdoor Kitchen Construction

Outdoor kitchen is framed out ready for granite installation. Used pressure treated 2x4s with strong tie nail plates and angle joints for stability. The entire framework sitting above the floor 1/2" so that it does not wick water during storms. Outdoor grill has it's own insulated stainless steel box to avoid fires. A 60 inch vent hood with 1200 CFM will be installed over the grill and side burner.

Did you consider cement block construction?
What is the framework sitting on?
What are you using to cover the wood framing?
Are you using any waterproofing?
