I also agree. Wuthering Waves will be one of those that will bring revolution to the new age of Gacha Games with better Gacha Rates and will be bringing Freedom to Better Combat System and Freedom to Teamcomps building be it solo, duo or Full team.

I'm looking forward to playing Wuwa. I played Genshin since launch and for an almost 4 year old game? The QoL is mostly useless, game growing stale after the first 3 patches of a new region, and Abyss is barely challenging unless your account is underdeveloped. And I believe the reason for this is because Genshin does not have any competitors in the "Anime open world game" genre. I'm heavily attached to genshin mainly because I love the game's lore, and I want to see it to the end. But it's getting hard to do so due to the lack of QoL updates etc etc. I want Wuwa to succeed and Hoyoverse to see it as an actual competitor so they can strive to make Genshin better. And in the end, the player who plays both wins xD

True. I think Wuthering Waves will be great on release. Also a lot of new content creators will be able to grow with this game.

I started playing genshin again recently after quitting around v2.4. Despite getting a new character, it already felt like a chore logging in after 2 weeks. I'm glad wuwa is coming soon because at this point I really just want the thrill of starting a new game again 😅.

I had that experience getting Navia. I love the character, I've been wanting a Geo DPS since like 1.3, but having one and now having to do the whole 1-80, skills and artifact grind from scratch just feels tedious. There's this awkward problem where you can't really use new characters until you've finished grinding them out but by the time you've finished grinding them the novelty has worn off, so you never really get to appreciate the peak experience of the character. They're even making it difficult to pre-grind some of them. Contrasting with HSR and its autobattle system and haitus reserve resin really highlights how bad the genshin experience is.

OK but let's be honest, you're mainly going to try WW just because it's a new game and it's free to start so you may as well, right? Same reason I gave ToF a chance.
What's really interesting to me about this is that even while we're now getting more mainstream, high quality gacha games, all of them except Genshin have had modern to futuristic settings. For some reason, no one wants to make traditional medieval/middle ages fantasy gacha games, despite it being arguably the most popular fantasy setting, and I think there may not be a proper Genshin competitor until someone makes another medieval fantasy gacha.

idk about ToF, i mean yeah they did futuristic setting and as much as i want Kuro Games trying medieval/middle ages setting but seeing as how Kuro more lean toward futuristic like they did in PGR imo maybe they just want to go more into the way they comfortable and trying to be medieval thing might ruin and lead them into chaos. Not to mention even WuWa had different setting from Genshin people keep comparing both of them like 'Genshin could never or Waves are wuthering and all' so for now at least to me im happy that Kuro went with what they familiar with but with different genre of the game. And yes i know Hoyo also make Honkai Impact but each to their own ig?

@@mintyjuwulz Both Genshin and WuWa are good games, but their exploration is too slow for me in an open-world. They lack the "mobility" that AzuPro and P. Mugen have.
