I got covid for Christmas off of my dad 😂😂😂
I got a long Guess winter jacket. Super cute! Also got a new makeup palette. A nintendo switch with skyward sword. A footbath with epsom salts. Annnnd a succulent scentsy! :) merry xmas sorry it was so crazy!

Finally, a relatable gift video! UA-cam is full of people receiving endless high-end gifts from what appears to be incredibly wealthy family and friends 😫🙄 this is really refreshing to see nothing too showy and crazy expensive!
Vivienne Westwood is a designer brand so those are def designer earrings. No hate to her obvi but they probably were expensive.

I got the Vivian Westwood earrings in silver for Christmas and they are sooo comfortable to sleep in, you can’t really feel them tbf x🤍
I got engaged Christmas Day
I got two kidney stones and was rushed to hospital on Christmas day. I had been feeling a little pain, but due to me having an extremely high pain tolerance I didn't think anything of it. My hubby found me passed out upstairs in our room. His mom was there, and she watched our kiddos while he rushed me to the hospital. They thought at first I was going to have surgery to get them out, but instead was lucky they could break them up the ultrasound vibrations. That was fun. My kids asked me how bad I was for Santa to bring me kidney stones, which was cute.

I love practical gifts, we also received a new set of utensils and let’s admit these things are expensive and most of the time we are hesitant to spend a lot of money on stuff like that.
I got a back gate and money towards a sofa..over the moon with it all. Don't know who has taken over me 😂

Thank you and I will! We removed all candles and real plants from the house whilst we were trying to figure out her skin condition so we will go carefully with anything like that now

Oh bless you, so sorry love, hope your Dad recovers quickly. When you get to my age you realise that occasionally events seem to happen all at once, but life is ever fluctuating and we notice things more at poignant times. Strangely my Brother broke his front tooth over Christmas and dentists are closed until New Year. Christmas Day put things in perspective....we were on our way to see my expectant Daughter, Son in law & Grandson with my other Daughter and my Husband. They live semi rurally, so it was extremely high up on a countryside road, very cold & windy, much like Wuthering Heights! We were half way to the turn off when we suddenly spotted what appeared to be a young girl crouched down against a wall, huddled up shaking with a gift bag at the side of them. We pulled up and as I walked towards them, they raised their head and I saw, it was in fact, a young man in his 20's. I asked what had happened, he explained his phone had run out of money and the taxi would not take him from the centre of town to another town 6 miles away to be paid on arrival via his friend. He had started to walk but had extreme severe arthritis and couldn't walk any further. At that point another lady pulled up returning from church as countless other cars sped by. I explained the situation. The young man said he needed to get these presents to a friend, he was clearly struggling and disadvantaged, so I offered to pay for a taxi to get him to his destination on the promise he wouldn't try to walk back, as did the lady, he said his friend would pay the taxi back for him. We stayed with him until the taxi arrived, he was clearly very cold and crippled in pain. The taxi (a different one than earlier) arrived and I explained what had happened, I could see him welling up, we were all welling up with tears of compassion, the young man was so grateful. As they set off both he and the taxi driver were waving and shouting "Thank You & Merry Christmas" we were all in tears, me the lady, my daughter, the taxi driver & the young man, it was a very spiritual moment....and the thing is.....I am Buddhist, the Lady was Catholic and the Taxi driver Muslim.....It was like a scene from A Christmas Carol....
Time to embrace all our differences realise who our real enemy is and work for compassion because it's what ALL compassionate humans want really....we can create a beautiful world, if we stop complying with greed and work locally for a better more peaceful existence because that's where it counts and that is our legacy............

Small gifts in my house are like somthing like a book or a jumper
I am sorry that you had a rough christmas! 😞 This was my saddest christmas too. Our dog has passed away on christmas eve. And I cried my eyes out for days. I felt so sorry for the dog. And she wasnt even 1 year old so that even made it worse cause she wasnt around for long. 😭😭😭 I still cry sometimes about it and I dont think I will forget about this ever. I am actually more of a cat person and I didnt get along with the dog too well but the way she died and seeing her suffer and seeing her behavior completely change made me so so sad. I wish I could see her jumping on me annoyingly again but that would never happen again. 💔💔💔😭😭😭

My bf and I decided not to do gifts this year because our anniversary is on the 15th of December, so we usually combine gifts anyways, and we wanted to do a vacation together instead of Gifts, so we went to the Oregon coast for a few days and it was so beautiful and just so nice to getaway and just hangout for a few days💝💝
So this year was just extra great because of that, I think we will start doing that as a tradition

My Christmas didn’t go to plan either, I tested positive for covid just as the Christmas holidays started so I had to isolate over Christmas and not see my family which sucked. I think this happened to so many people though so at least it wasn’t just me. But luckily with FaceTime I managed to talk to family and friends at least. I hope yours wasn’t too bad☺️xx
