The outdoor farmer's market is open on Saturday mornings/afternoons and Thursday evenings. The indoor market just opened in June and is open most days of the week. Nice to have it in the neighbourhood!

I’m sure Gord meant Geordie Howe and not Bobby Hull. Most famous person who grew up in Saskatoon is 🐩Joni Mitchell. The is a plaque honouring her near the hotel as she spent many summers playing near the Broadway bridge.

Saskatoon is a great place to call home. I lived there on two separate occasions - born and raised in Saskatchewan. - - Joni Mitchell (legendary influential Musician - Clouds, Both Sides Now, Big Yellow Taxi, Woodstock, River, The Circle Game) - born in Fort Macleod, AB. moved to Battleford @2 then moved to Saskatoon when she was 9. She attended HS @ Aden Bowman Collegiate. She moved to Calgary to attend Alberta College of Art and Design and performed at Calgary coffee shops and bars well attending school. - - Leslie Neilson from Regina was an Actor/Comedian - Airplane, Naked Gun, Mr. Magoo - - Love or hate him - Elon Musk's grandmother (Moose Jaw), his mother was born in Regina. Elon spent a year in Saskatchewan as a 17yr old working on his uncle's farm near Swift Current. He's made a buck or two since.

That is the kind of city I've mostly lived in. Which makes it comfortable for me (in contrast with Toronto, New York, Vancouver. The Ontario cities similar to Saskatoon are best in Ontario.

I like the horizontal orientation better than the vertical because the vertical orientation is narrowing the angle of view too much for me.

What’s winter like there .
Toronto changed so much and not for best , so much stress and expense it’s become unlivable unless you are hidden in a little safe pocket with a paid off house and income and you don’t have to use public transit or drive in the stressful streets .
So many people I know left T.O because of these factors caused by policy’s of greed and bad planning.
Have you ever been to Watrous and Manitou Beach? If so, may I ask your opinion on these locations as I am very interested in going there at some point.

Nice looking city but why do they say the crime is very bad in Saskatoon as well as Regina and some of the smaller towns like North Battleford. This gives Saskatchewan a bad vibe.

Swearing doesn't look good on a young lady Alina. We moving back to Canada after being 20 years in New Zealand. We flying into Vancouver with a dog....I think Saskatoon be a good city to settle for now, since New Zealand is so slow going. Maybe the reverse culture shock be not as bad. I'm scared to start over with 62 , but my son had enough living on an island. He was born in Windsor Ontario, we left Canada when he was 8. It was the biggest mistake of my life to marry and follow a Maori guy..
