The Z06 got some new shoes, and they aren't New Balance! The world's first C8 Corvette Z06 on @VossenWheels Forged Wheels, the new S21-02 finished in Brushed Light Smoke. Join me as we get the new wheels ceramic coated, mounted and balanced then finally installed on the car with a new set of Michelin PS4S tires. Huge thanks to the team at Echelon Autosports in AZ for helping get everything set for some video and photoshoots! We also had the amazing opportunity to take the Z06 to Driven Project at this year's Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale. Jr. joined me in the car as we went along for a police escorted cruise and across the actual auction stage at Barrett Jackson! I love the wheel design but I think the brushed finish would look better on a darker colored Z06. I think black or dark grey wheels would go better with the Blue color of the car.
I debated the Dark Smoke finish but we ended up going with light smoke. I definitely didn't want black wheels as that would hide the design, and the stock wheels are already so dark!
They look great, but the stock wheels are pretty great too.

Nice wheels. I was a little concerned at first but turned out really beautiful. Why didn't you put the billet caps on after they were balanced instead of hammering it on with a mallet?

I think the black or going more like a gun metal color would looks nicer. It compliments the black carbon flash pieces on the car. Still nice though.
I saw a stingray with these and wondered how a zo6 would look with these. It’s perfection.

Looks wayyyyy nicer than black wheels...it makes the looks of the C8 pop now as opposed to dulling the looks down which black wheels do.

Perfect choice of wheel and color for the Z. Need winter to hurry up and be done so I can get wheels for my daily lol. Random question but does the Shelby and R8 both have factory exhaust as well? Wasn't sure if either were replaced with aftermarket or not.

The Shelby is stock exhaust with an exhaust valve controller. The R8 has a titanium B. Rogue Built catback exhaust.

this is exactly what I plan to do with my z07 package. the cup 2R is really not that good on the road and is such a waste, I rather keep that in the garage and track it for few sections instead of just driving around on the road for 5K miles and replace it.

Yep. Brushed metal finish. Really light gunmetal or dark silver. It changes a lot with lighting too. Love it

Spend all that money on a car and you still have to buy new PS4S's because they force you to buy the cup 2's instead of letting you just have the PS4S's. You shouldn't have to spend even more money to get something that comes on the standard Z06.

@@EddieX don't get me wrong, I think the Z06 is amazing and I have a classic Corvette but it's just not the same performance or quality level as super cars that have evolved over decades. Lets see what the Zora or ZR1 brings to the table! Hopefully a Ferrari SF90 like setup but with twin turbos and 1000hp. Nice wheels BTW!
