A lot of people asking about tire size and offset’s front and rear but you are not providing that info….any reason why?
I have it all in my episode devoted to this. we usually run the following sizes (245/30/20 front & 325/25/21 rear) with these sizes the front overal diameter is 25.8" exactly the same OD as your factory 245/35/19 and the rear is 27.4" OD which is .2" bigger in OD compared to your factory 305/30/20 which is 27.2" OD.

Can you fit a 245/35/20 tire in the front on C8? I have that tire in Michelin pilot alpine wondering if it will fit

I’d have concerns of a harder ride . Looking forward to seeing how they work out for you. GM dropped the ball on rim design for the C8 . A lot of owners looking for aftermarket rims. Vossen rims look nice 👍🏻

You talked about offset but you only mentioned the offset of the rear wheel which was -52mm (correct?) what is the offset you have on your front wheel...? I know you have wider in the front as well but I am planning to maintain the same size as a stock which means 19" / 8.5" in the front and 20"/11" in the rear and use the stock tires on the Vossen rims.
Would you be able to help me with an offset that can give a car a better look....

I like the rims but I have a question about changing offsets, tire size etc. I worked on C6 design and the wheel opening/ wheel clearance was determined by the tire movement in all conditions of extreme jounce when turning and all weather conditions. I have been reading all of the posts on lowering the car, adding spacers, and changing the tire sizes. Has GM engineering commented on this.

Hi, like the looks of your wheels. They look very similar to the Trident wheel option from GM. Will be curious about ride quality, I don’t think it will be day and night different, but it can’t help but be a bit rougher, especially on our roads in the north, if I lived in the south where roads are much better, I think I would give them a try. I do like the way it fills out the wheel well, as far as the offset, I kinda have mixed thoughts on that as well, I would be afraid that rocks and other debris might get thrown at fenders, rockers, etc. You will soon find out. Great video keep up the good work.

When you order your Vossen’s, do they request your wheel offset? Or do they know what it is and you just need to have the wheel and tires sizes? (Example: 20x9 and 21x12, 245/30/20, 325/25/21)

Hey Morgan I’m digging the Vossen HF3 wheels. Are the fronts 245/30/R20 you mentioned the rears as 325/25/21 just wanted to confirm what tires I’d need. How much would I be into the HF3 wheels for my C8? Just the wheels landed in Alberta?

Hi Norm. One thing you didn’t touch on is if the tire sensor monitors are transferable from the OEM wheels to the Vossens.
Yes they are all the same. I just bought a new set so I wouldn’t have to keep interchanging them.

Dumb question, but with the bigger wheels do you still fill them to 30psi?
Always use the suggested psi on the side of the tire: I think it’s 33 on these

Can you talk about if there is going to be more allocation for the dealer for the 2021 C8 corvette? For example I have a order that I placed on February the 15th and is at 1100 status?
I think there will be but GM is being very cautious about handing out more. They are producing a remarkable amount right now and will probably announce more if things go well in a month

Great looking wheel...actually the exact wheel that I’m looking to put on my 2020 C8. I currently have aftermarket wheels/tires and I don’t like my current offset. I would like to exchange my current aftermarket wheels (2019 Corvette ZR1 wheels) with these Vossen wheels. I’m looking to keep 19” wheels in the front and 20” wheels in the back so that I don’t have to get new tires all the way around.. Can we talk about price to order those wheels? Question... Did you use the Vossen Aluminum Lug Nuts? If so, how are they doing? Any issues/problems?
Tech at my Chevy dealership seemed awful nervous putting them on...

Did you carbon ceramic treat the wheels before mounting? Considering you drive around in Canada I think that it should be standard operating procedure.

You have fully forged rims for much less than 10 000 !!!!! Titan 7 and BJ Forged for example.

I’m waiting on my HF-5’s (Satin Black)...dealer tried talking me into satin bronze but I chickened out lol... are you happy with ride height (fender gap).... debating whether I’ll lower mine marginally on stock coilovers? I’m not sure how to say this without (that’s what she said references) but how many fingers can you get in wheel gap?lol

Haven’t looked into that, I strongly suggest against going to a 21 in the front. It won’t fit
@@Cars_and_Crosbie there are other youtubers that have 21 to fit in the front, just have to remove the mud flap, thanks though.
Was kinda hard to tell, but I sure hope my man didn't stick a silver weight on that wheel when he balanced it.... I gots to have the gloss black weight for my gloss black wheels!

Wrong color to demo details of the CNC results.
The stock OE wheels are hideous. GM needs to put more emphasis on wheels, and hire a wheel designer that knows what is hot on the market. Give consumers a 3 pc wheel option!
Looks like they’re finally getting into Forged wheels which means that we will have a lot more intricate spoke designs
