Absolutely an example of the best written, best musicianship, best produced music ever. If you don't know Wendy & Lisa they are of Prince fame, under their name. Absolutely some of the best rock to be published, they are Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. I simply cannot say enough about the immense song writing and musicianship of this duo. They went into music for film and television and have won an Emmy Award, I think because they were never properly promoted by their label. If you want to hear some of the most simply beautiful music ever to be recorded.
Most underrated album of 1990 and most underrated duo! They toured more outside the U.S. then in it.
Skeleton Key, the funkiest track on that Eroica album.
Their drummer had the most perfect snare hit. Love it!

The sound of the Revolution is just one of the best sounds to my ears...and to hear the main members own songs is always a joy. Brilliant writers, musicians and beautiful to boot. Damn!
i was so impressed when they did their own music that they had their own sound and that they were actually really good. i mean, they were clearly hot, and i had a big thing for Lisa, but the fact they weren't just the pawns of a higher power was the point. and just to prove they were legit, they did tv and film music. love forever.

I used to blast this album through the rooms of my first home out on the edge of a farm in Pennsylvania. Sold the house and moved to Florida and every time I hear or play this album I automatically think of that farm house at the edge of a farm. LOL
