- I found this interview hiding on an old VHS tape, hence the poor quality. (It's 24 years old!)
Regardless, I hope you Wendy & Lisa fans out there enjoy it. This was an interview to promote the single 'Satisfaction'. Of course, the conversation gets round to Prince too. (Doesn't it always!)
Unfortunately I had to take the music video out of the interview due to a copyright claim.
Interviewer: "Are you sisters?"

@@KR-vk2wx They did the right thing by enduring and staying relaxed. The media are 90% this kind of quality, it was true back then and it's true now. They were professional and smart tolerating stuff like this and understanding the business they were in.

Absolutely an example of the best written, best musicianship, best produced music ever. If you don't know Wendy & Lisa they are of Prince fame, under their name. Absolutely some of the best rock to be published, they are Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. I simply cannot say enough about the immense song writing and musicianship of this duo. They went into music for film and television and have won an Emmy Award, I think because they were never properly promoted by their label. If you want to hear some of the most simply beautiful music ever to be recorded.

Oh Wendy.. the “playing for prince” story changes from decade to decade. I’ve heard 3 different versions of how he came to hear u play by you all different accounts..wow. Lisa always shuts up and looks embarrassed!🤣im sure the truth is very different and much less random. He didn’t know you played guitar when your liver Lisa was his keyboard player? COME ON! Why lie? I still think these girls are talented but why lie about a story like this?
