I want to thank y'all! I work for a prominent record label and was tasked with running my first major ad. I had anxiety because it was my first meta ad and actually decided I wasn't going to do it. That was before I stumbled across y'all's channel. I followed y'all's videos and studied you guys only. I built my ad budget, SEO package, and push based around y'all's advice and videos. The ad ended up being very successful for the label, bringing in the organic traffic that we needed to really gauge our audience. I normally have a hard time taking in information from people, but y'all's style is so easy to consume and follow! Y'all are a gem, and I am a forever subscriber!

Fair points! I'm more Stories than feed as a user vs reels. On the publisher side, it really depends how strategic you want to be on the platform, while almost maintaining your own creative integrity, and then on the consumer side we should definitely just be using the platform the way we like to. - T

It’s definitely fair to say most people are winging it, and in tech there is a need to ship / iterate fast. We get this can cause frustration or anxiety for those who rely on these platforms (knowing that’s where the majority of people spend their time). That’s why we always do our best to stay on top of things so we can communicate that and make it actionable. Hi Cindy, it's sort of a way of saying the same thing but covering all terminology, similar to saying "content pillars" and "content categories". If you really drill down, I'd say a "send" is when you send a post to someone else, and "share" is when you share a post to Stories - C

Hi, the available post types are single image, carousels (multiple image), in-feed video, Reels video, and Stories. As far as what you can create, you'd be best to look at big brands and the top creators in your niche to see what they do that works, and then use that inspiration to come up with your content. I'd also suggest you put together a social strategy and content pillars to make sure you're doing it all with intent - C

And my IG account is full of my peers instead of my target audience please should I start a new account or continue with it. It's a year old thanks
@@halimayusuf8007 Every piece of content should either educate, entertain or inspire - those are just overarching ways to look at what you're doing and make sure it's valuable. There's too many things that come under each to list them here, we've done a bunch of videos about it, definitely worth checking those out. Keep going with the current account, make sure you're doing proactive daily engagement with your target audience, answering questions on big accounts that are being ignored - all those things that help lock you into a niche and build the community - C

Hi, there's no setting that will push your reach down. It could be a combination of many things, from the type of content that you've been posting to the time of day you post to whether you're doing proactive daily engagement to even algorithm changes. It's happening to everyone so don't worry - just keep posting engaging content and build your community! - C
Hi! It sure is! It takes a bit of grinding but it's very possible. They usually would push your Reels to any followers early on to help you get going, but definitely get at least 12 posts out before going hard on growth - C
Can someone explain me why I have 50 likes of a total 120 views and don’t get pushed to explore or other people ? I mean my engagement is from 25-45% per post. Is it not good enough ?
Is it a newer account? That engagement rate is quite good for sure, so it could be a number of things - the age of the account, likes aren't valued as much as other things like saves/shares (I just broke it down on the other comment), the actual niche itself and whether the algo recognizes that's what you're involved in etc. The numbers are low in general and that could also be why, hence my guess that it's either a newer account or hyper niche. Keep up that good work consistently! - C

This send shit is just not right because not all valuable content is good for sending to all your friends. Maybe I’m an art fan and my friend aren’t, I like the art and I don’t share it with others. Why should the art not be pushed when it’s good and people actually like it ? Sorry but I think likes, comments and shared should be equally
Hi! I see where you're coming from. Over time, likes slowly meant less and less, and due to bot comments, it's tough for them to figure out what's real and what's not. Shares and saves are two metrics that (typically) bots can't do, and it's much more meaningful from the user perspective. I'll personally throw a like to almost anything, but I'll share very specific things that I find engaging or just really enjoy and think someone else will appreciate. You're right that it's subjective but I guess that's part of the game. If you have enough people sharing your art, it tells the algorithm that it's a popular post and it'll keep pushing it to more new people. It doesn't mean that a post isn't good or great if it isn't shared, it just means a post resonated more with others, and that's just the nature of social media. It ain't always fair (trust me that I've felt your pain over the years many, many times), but it's the only way for it to work. - C

I got 9 million views on one real, so is possible. I would say there are no easy fixes and the first 1000 followers was the hardest.
