This actually goes pretty hard for what it is. I love Lorna Shore's lyrics but never thought of hearing them this way. Not sure how well Awaken, O' Sleeping Dreamer for example would translate, but this has got impressive flow.

Well, it's official. Adam needs to have a side gig as a pop songwriter. If Lil Aaron, Morgoth Beats, and Shellback (who was part of a Black Metal band) can be big name pop music writers and producers, Adam has a chance.

Honestly.. I wanna know what Lorna Shore would sound like being opera. Like full on massive opera singing with pure dark classical music. I'm sure there are some covers somewhere on UA-cam maybe but it would be cool for someone to do a full orchestral and opera cover.
I’m pretty sure you just replace the guitars and bass with acoustic instruments and make Will an opera singer. Apart from that, I’m pretty sure you could use the stems from the original song

Adam does write some lyrics, but Will is credited with the lyrics for the Pain Remains Trilogy. Adam is credited with writing the screenplay for the videos of the trilogy. Also, I want to see Will cover this different version of his own song

Austin has said in an interview (I want to say on A&P reacts) that Will gets feedback from Adam but does the heavy load of the lyric writing. So I think it would be a hug to Wiil for the lyrics and a hug to Adam for being open about the mental hell he was going through while writing the music for the whole album.

@@austinbutler1291 Its not clear to me if you are trying to say you are Austin Archey their drummer. I was talking about Austin's interview on A&P Reacts that came out shortly before Pain Remains came out. I re-watched the interview and he does say it around the 15 minute mark of that interview.

I’m always inclined to read the lyrics first before I listen to a song and I pictured Will to look and feel so different from just that and I think, correct me if I’m wrong but he mentioned in an interview that he did in fact write the lyrics! Everybody’s got to let out them demons somehow :P

It's a concept album, though, not something super autobiographical. If you're interested, Apple Music has album/track descriptions that tell the story the protagonist was going on and they give a lot of insight of why the album is the way it is both lyrically and musically and what Will was trying to accomplish.
Adam writes the music and Will writes the lyrics.
I think Adam did the lyrics for pain remains though
@@Nick.McIntyre Not from one of the interviews he did. He told Will what the premise behind the song’s musical orchestration was about. He told Will what to write the song about, lyrically.

I love Lorna shore! I would love to see an acoustic version of pain remains part 1. The lyrics are so deep and I would honestly love to see how Will would interpret the song in a more heartfelt way.

For anyone who liked the vibe of this and wants something similar with more of an instrumental edge, I’d strongly recommend checking out the song Fool Me Once by nightlife. Extremely good song, and probably more palatable for metal listeners. Plus Marcus Bridge of Northlane is a fan, and that’s a pretty big sign of approval.
It reminds me of DatSEA from way back. He did a great pop rendition of Reign of Darkness.

After the Machine Head-Halo reaction video, I knew that Alex would sneak into my heart. He who uses his eyes not only to look but also to see with them, it notices when someone honestly reviews a video. I really like him. (You too Nik 🤘) -Sometimes you need irony. Many people are still blind and remain deaf. You can tell them in any language or they don't want to understand or don't know what you want to say. The Lorna Shore guys must have had their eyes widen when they heard this cover. Each version is another slice of the cake for the knights of the metal round table.
Definitely a cool concept. My favorite band will always be Linkin Park but I've always wondered how some of their more lighter songs would sound if it were actually Metal. For example would it be possible to do One More Light but much more metal haha. Also we need a Nik reaction to LP's latest song.

Adam wrote the majority of this one, but it does also pull from some of Will's experiences too. From what I understand, Adam was kinda the lead writer on this song, but Will did some of it as well.
