UNDER appreciated and exposed fer sure! (I always wonder who are the tone-deaf or jealous morons that gave this a thumbs=down? IMO, the views should just 'bout = thumbs up)
An exciting and unique newgrass group. High energy playing from beginning to end. Good to see that the fabulous four decided to stay together for 2019. For those not knowing the musicians: Billy Strings, guitar and lead vocal, Billy Failing, Banjo and harmony vocal, Jarrod Walker, Mandolin, backing vocal, Royal Massat, standup bass fiddle and backing vocals. This is high end talent.
YEEEHAAA!! How much more fun can music be? Billy Strings is amazing! Anyone out there who still hasn't seen him live is missing out on the time of your life!
What a great show by Billy and the boys. One thing I really like about this show is the mix of traditional bluegrass with more modern material. Personally, I prefer more traditional bluegrass. However, Billy's musicianship is absolutely fantastic. Since he plays the guitar so fast, I'm surprised he isn't either breaking guitar strings or having picks fly all over the place. Hopefully I'll get to see Billy live soon.
He's playing a free show in New Martinsville, WV 9pm tonight (6-29). Looking forward to seeing him live just 45 minutes away, Del McCoury band Saturday. Outta be a hot night in old West Virginia!!!!

HATE to use the word "epic"... but Billy's break during "Tormoil and Tinfoil" was... um, epic - borderline unreal. This band is "the tits"... the best ... incredibly good, creative and they just keep getting better. (Jared was a great pick-up... got some real stylish chops on that mando.)

Since I first heard Billy and his band 3 years ago, they have moved into the most wonderful jams. I love following them.

Thank you very much. Great show and great quality. Only 4K video would be better;-)
That's coming soon. I wasn't going to blow my bandwidth on the road with a 4K upload.
