Fantastic cover of Greensky Bluegrass's Reverend , no wonder Biily was smiling at the end of his solo.
Billy Strings...on his way to becoming one the best guitarists of all time!
He has a great singing voice too!
On his way,,
No disrespect sir,
But I think he's there
Good day to you sir thank you...
@@jimmyhawke I totally agree on both!
@@willierepairone5389 Yep, zakilly my thought too: already there, already changing up the genres, evolving jam music, elevating other musicians, and writing songs people will sing decades from now. Roll on Billy Strings, good God almighty roll on.
I agree, but seriously... Jarrod Walker, royal massat, and Billy flailing also man....
this is was where I truly discovered him I was laying in my tent which was near the stage. it was a late night set and i was really tired and sleepy but hearing his music drew me out of my tent to dance with all the beautiful souls that were in that crowd
My hometown. This was a such a great night!!!
can't believe I missed this
Caught Billy Goat first time at the 420 fest this year and then the next night at terminal west...blown the fuck away. Bringing back blue grass yall!!!
Timothy Little he’s so good ! He’s coming back to ATL 9/5-6 @ Terminal West
Holy Jesus in Heaven! What talent!!!!
Absolutely awesome set... incredible musicianship to close out a great night
This is pretty great. They embrace the traditional side and also get into psychedelic jams and I like it.
JamGrass
These dudes absolutely JAM!! Amazing talent from everyone in the band.✌🤘
How lucky all of you who were there!
Was at this show... This set was the highlight of my weekend!!!
Someone get this guy his own festival!!!!
Yess!! With ya on that.
@@brianramirez7272 HELL YEAH! StringsFest sounds amazing already! The late night jamming with all the musicians around the camp fire. I am there!!!
@@Kdubgrit great idea!! What do you think William Apostol?
I'm there duuuude
One of the many highlights to the weekend, but this is what we were talking about on the drive home. Killer. Thanks for posting.
I regret not staying up for the whole thing
Jarod is SLAYING IT!!!!
Failing fucking rips
The BEST.....WOW!!!
Easily the best set of the weekend, could not have asked for better
That mandolin is godly
I grew up with 10-12 pickers in our front room least 2-3 times a month..Damn they were good..still have family that plays like hell, hard to beat...but Billy is 1 excellent picker..I listen to them all, from Watson , Rice , who ever and he is above most that has, and probably ever will play..takes a lot of talent to play as he does..!!..
Yes...I forgot..they are all are great..hell of a band
this was so much fun!
That’s one hell of a disclaimer in your description bud. You’re doing gods work.
Love , love , love your shows !!!!!
Sweet - thanks!!!
this was a GREAT weekend!
Haven't danced that hard ever.
I was there!!
Excellent! Thanks for posting this.

Meet Me at the Creek
Notes: Good. Couple ads before, only 1 during? Fair amount of crowd noise.
Reminds me of YMSB circa 1999 to 2003. That is a compliment of the highest order BTW. Billy's band is probably each more technically talented but the spirit to take traditional bluegrass out there is the same. No one had done that quite like YMSB at the time.
The dimebag of the dreadnaught
love that, Like Dimebag R.I.P, Billy is on a whole other level
YEEEEEHAWWW
And as ALWAYS - Train that carried my girl from town 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Phenom....there I said it.
We’re there some tritone double stop runs going there? Awesome
🔥
The new Strings Theory
There’s literally no weak link in this band.
Its hard to realize how good Royal is on the bass as well from just the video. This performance you could feel
Zack Shier They could use a fiddle tho, just to round the sound out
@@ogs1mpson609 They have one on tour with them this year. Just saw them in Detroit last weekend. Their fiddle player I believe is just filling in, but he is damn good and you're right, it adds such a good sound. They also brought out a lap steel guitar player as well. Played love like me with him, and did a cover of Ballad of Curtis Lowe. Great show
Zack Shier very nice. I love Billy’s choice of covers, very eclectic.
@@ogs1mpson609 he did half of Another Brick in the Wall with a wild guitar intro as well. Such a great group of musicians.
Is that the same mando player he has had last couple of years? I cant tell....going to see them in November!
No, this is a better one. This guy's name is Jarrod Walker.
I want Billy to start playing with Dead and Co. sometimes - if John leaves or when Bobby retires, he could step up and then some! Dead forever grateful ...
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard
Game of thrones tease. Niccceeeee!
Awesome artist you should have left the banter in though
Where is the audio from?

@@evenstev I was just gonna say that the sound is pretty good! Thanks so much for posting this.
