Thanks for your videos, I would like to add that as a Neuropsychologist, I have learned that most of the time (if not 100% of the time) that "chemistry", "familiarity" is because it unconsciously reminds you of the relationships learned in your childhood before the age of 7, when your analytical mind was not yet developed, the complicated thing is that on many occasions these relationships were not healthy... therefore when you do not feel those "butterflies" in many cases it is a good sign.
That's interesting, wanna know more about this bc I'd expect the opposite. Like when feeling chemistry and familiarity, it has been positive in your childhood. Would you also say that not having butterflies quickly is also due to you don't resemble ex partner's of your dating partner? Like I have the feeling that men have difficulties to fall in love bc they're used to women who treated them bad. When a nice girl comes, they "can't" develop feelings bc of no character similarities 😅

This is so true and happened to me. I didn’t feel it until date #5. But from date #1-4, he had shown me with actions not just with words what a great person he really was. It was how he made me feel that sparked the chemistry on date #5 and beyond.

Have a situation like this currently. Been on at least 6 dates & have good conversations, but told him I'm not feeling the chemistry right now. Hm. I think there is so much that could be said in relationship to this. You might feel incredible chemistry with someone, but then if you've both got issues from the past, e.g. relationship based trauma from the past that causes you fear, the passion might take time to ignite or be on hold because of that fear, and you might get stuck in difficult cyclical situations where you are repeating negative patterns from the past. If you can objectively realise what is happening, then take some time out, do some inner healing work, give the other person time and space to do their own inner work, then re-connect as better, healthier more balanced individuals once you've worked on those parts of yourself that needed work, you can focus on removing those barriers, but also know when is actually healthy and appropriate to open up that inner flame and re-ignite that inner spark. Igniting passion is something that can be always smoldering beneath the surface, the important thing is to recognise if this is what you really want, and do you have the commitment to keep that fire burning and do you have what it takes to take turns as responsible independent adults who can consciously choose to make that commitment, or are you just going to subconsciously throw yourself at someone like a needy dependent child just because you assume something about them based on some subconscious attachment style. Yes, this is true. I enjoyed the connection and he listened and is engaging. I was leery because we have an age gap however it seemed never to hinder our connection. After 5 months of actual friendship I decided to give him a chance and am dating now for 2 months the chemistry is coming along slow n steady. And I know that is the one for me.Though he keeps telling me that he doesn’t feel the chemistry and hence doesn’t want to continue. Iv been having trouble lately, iv been seeing a wonderful woman with a bright personality. Problem? No chemistry. Its so odd because i constantly feel like the chemistry is on the very edge of sparking. Why is this? Could my heart be closed?
It depends on life and situation sometimes. To build the china muralla it took every single block to build that wonderwall.
So for building an honest friendship with someone it takes time and pays off when time goes by..it becomes sth special is not a settle feeling, is about maturity, u feel safe and calm and attraction develops with time.
There r many many love stories out there, so u can try anything either slow building blocks or just go faster.

Well this thing happened reverse way, i felt the love and connection between that person and me, with time I knew it was possible to have such chemistry between us , and the bond is so deep. And I know that is the one for me.Though he keeps telling me that he doesn’t feel the chemistry and hence doesn’t want to continue. We have been chatting and have this contact for about one and half year.we helped to develop each other, was there when ever we needed each other, but from two weeks before he started keep distance between us since he doesn’t feel the chemistry. Greetings from the Philippines! 🇵🇭 I would just like to ask if you could make a relationship advice video on how to deal with a partner who just doesn't know how to start or manage to have long deep conversation.. I'm an old soul and a lover of deep conversations, however, my partner, he's just different (but not in a negative way).. and it's probably cus he's just not as emotional as I am.. he's more of a logical person and tends to prefer a smooth casual conversation. i observed him get deep into conversations especially when we are fixing our little arguments, so i knew that he can be in those situations. I already brought that up and I saw how he's trying to get himself be better in communication, me too as I try to match his types of conversation. I know he loves me and i want to deepen our connection further and I understand that having deep connection through conversations is one great way to spark that. We're just a new couple (more than a year), are we just in the early stages yet? what can we do better so we can meet halfway?

why mot just stay friends then? because if u don’t feel the chemistry/ attraction the woman may not be able to satisfy his needs in a relationship. he might end up meeting a woman who is sexually attracted to him and adores him.
