You are not alone. I also love seeing the stones being launched from the catapult. But for me, the most beautiful scene is when there are enemies on the walls and they get hit by Falsta and fall from the tower.

Good siege.
The bad thing in Stronghold 2 is that burning logs is so overpowered. The most significant part on how you use it.

Stronghold 2 ; Stronghold legends and Stronghold crusarder are best. I most liked Stronghold legends.

You could have won so easily, you didn't even use half of your defense power, hard to watch feels like you have never played this game before. The castle tho, is really nice.

The only game killer on stronghold is you can place10000000 troops on a single tiny square and get hit by burning logs. So ridiculous
