I'm Looking at the Phil, . Thailand and Argentina. I want to live Cheap ( and safe ) and Put Money into Stock market and High Utility Alt.Crypto. Keep Showing us the real/ normal Underbelly of Bangkok
That was my budget when I moved to Thailand 15 years ago and yes it did the job. love it.

I spent $40 dollars on Uber eats. I saw these videos a few years ago during the Pandemic and they were going for $35 - $45 bucks a month.
If you are already retired from the military? A place like this is perfect. You don't really need much. Just a really low cost of living works out great.
I would also suggest rural areas with Internet like a home for rent so that you can throw on some Solar panels and offset the cost of electricity as A/C is going to be a must to be Comfy. As long as you have an internet connection, your fine.
Imagine being able to save and invest the rest of your retirement every month with living costs of S.E.A.
Not bad at all.
If you do have a remote work option? This is a great idea.
These small places are just perfect for long term rentals of 6 months to a year if you do some home furnishings to them to make them look and feel a bit more cozy.

Watched this video a number of times & like it all; apartment, neighborhood, availability to all, as you say, you need. Can wander anywhere in the city & return to home sweet home. Being comfortable while scoping out greener pastures is nice too. No rush. The only criticism I have is among your toiletries I didn't see any designer shampoo. Work on that.

amazing you can get any housing even remotely that affordable, and it’s got everything you need too. vast majority of American’s spend $70-$180 month just for wifi/cableTV. I wish there were some condos in Taiwan that affordable!

it's a very simple and humble living, I'm moving there soon and I'll probably be getting one of these apartments. far too many American expats expect 5 star living and get surprised when they run out of money before their next paycheck
It is all you need. Please enjoy Thailand.
That is so cheap. Basic quarters with a bed, space for a desk and a bathroom. No need for kitchen or living room if you are out all the time. This is how people can live on $500 a month.

Should definitely have a kitchen. Too much sugar and MSG in Thai cooking to live healthily long term. Living cheap in the short term causes expensive living in the long term.
Ryan were is that in Bangkok I use to stay in a one bed flat for about the same rent in Bangkapi a few years back ? Great video shows you what we need not what we want you live so humble

Looks good to me. If the bed is too hard for you then a mattress topper will help you. I personally prefer the hard mattress. But, I can easily live in that place no problem.

It's all included, but I haven't lived there for about 2 years. Yes families are OK.
This indeed cheaper than sukumvit line with ac n full furnish n decent room n nice view outside wish there was klong to see the boats n thai life on klongs.

Hello, love the tour and the room is decent, but i dont understand why you chose that room , when we all know that the condos in bangkok dont go higher then 200-250 for a very decent one. so why is that you are renting this place why? Also is it usd or Australian aud?

So can I get an exact location on that and can I rent for three months? I need a three-month rental topping out at under 200 but only staying three months. Any info helps. I like what this video showed, it looked like it had character.

Sar Dee cup so fluent in the local language I rather live in Bangkok like this than pay out 15 k for a condo in a area with my farang than Thais eating t over priced restaurants were is this area in Bangkok mate looks lovely cheers

2300 bhat including internet. Power is between 500-1000 bhat a month ($14-$28). You have to give one month notice before you leave.
