This is great, the sort of innovation I'd like to see Land Rover come up with instead of more luxury and new premium additions to the range. Imagine a future Defender with ideas like this, adaptable enough to be bare bones or more premium.

Great concept
As an outdoor enthusiast, I like it.
If you are an enthusiast you should see many mistakes in the concept. I'm not talking about small ones, of which there are many - it's enough for me to imagine how a tree branch kills the driver, through a window without glass.
@@MrJuodasvilkas I do, but as a concept I like it. It will never make production and I am unlikely to buy it if it did; but I would be tempted with a practical version that looked like this, if I had need and could afford it. It's a concept car!
@@MrJuodasvilkas lots of quad bikes and side by sides dont have windscreens, look at the old army jeeps where they folded down, thats simply going to be an optional extra.
Add solar panel roof, doors with windows and waterproof the interior then I'm sold.
Looks like a collaboration with Tonka toys !

Why does this look almost identical to the STV in Star Citizen?
Apparently it is extremely similar to the first drafts of the STV design, I wonder if Dacia has some license with Cloud Imperium Games.
And kind of similar to the Warthog from Halo, right?
@@CARmagazineTV Well, not really, the first glance with the pillars that usually holds a windshield looks somewhat similar, except that the warthog has a styled tilted windshield and same colour as the body, and the openings to enter the seats are similar, yet not the same, and the front has sharply angled flat faces on the corner from a top view, but the Warthog has those angled from a front view also and with longer faces unlike this, the Warthog does not have a big flat face in front. And the Warthog has bigger wheels and a longer wheelbase, since it has a flat bed on the back that holds the turret. And lots and lots of smaller details.
@@CARmagazineTV It sort of looks similar at quick glance, like a buggy version. But the front and rear ends (the rear especially with the two boxes) are straight rip-offs of the STV. The only difference is on the STV, it has a compartment that drops down to reveal the box storage, whereas the Dacia has the boxes exposed. But aside from that, it's basically identical. It's cool that they made it real, I just hope they went the correct routes in making it.

airless tyres are good, but they wont provide flotation for mudding etc.

The guys from Dacia might be the only car manufacturers which go like: We are designers, right? So let’s just design a car which won’t go in production, just for fun
It was created by those who have not seen off-road and have not stuck their noses out of the office. Oh, how nice it is to use recycled plastic, but they didn't think that the tires are not suitable for off-road, and the windows without glass are deadly traps in the forest. Egamers dreams....
