    I make low-calorie sodas every day with my Drinkmate - and the sodas I make at home generally taste much better than anything I could buy in stores. I sweeten my sodas with Truvia Cane Sugar Blend, which is 25% sugar and 75% stevia. The Truvia tastes exactly like sugar, but is much less fattening.

    Great video presentation. We owned a Sodastream unit a while ago, but considering the Drinkmate unit as it appears to be able to charge more liquids of various kinds. Sparkling Coconut juice, now that’s something I need to try. Thanks.

      hi there, I'm incredibly sorry I missed your comment and took so long to reply. Just in case it's of use to you or anyone else that faces the same issue in the future I thought it best to post a reply, however late it may be (sorry!). Generally speaking, and presuming your machine is working properly, when a cylinder nets far less than it should there are two potential causes:
      1) If your cylinder isn't screwed in tightly enough, the pressure from pressing the CO2 bursts coming out of your cylinder will cause it to gradually unscrew itself. Once it's completely out of position, it'll give you the impression that it's empty (as the machine isn't making contact with the cylinder any more). Re-tightening the cylinder should of course get it working again.
      2) The way you carbonate can have an impact on production: Machines like the aarke use a single long burst of CO2 to carbonate - compared to machines like the drinkmate which carbonate in short bursts, a single long burst tends to use more CO2. Additionally, if you carbonate a bottle more than once (aarke suggest carbonating repeatedly to get stronger carbonation levels) each additional carbonation cycle uses up CO2 and will result in you getting less bottles out of each cylinder. That's not to say this is the cause, though, as machines like the aarke tend to get between 30-40 litres out of each cylinder if you carbonate once per bottle (till you hear the buzzing sound kick in) - I'd hazard a guess that something else is the cause if you only got 5-6 litres. it's more likely that your cylinder just came loose or there could be an issue with the machine if you got such a small number of bottles out of it and the cylinder is definitely empty.
      Hope this helps you or anyone else that encounters the same issue in the future. If there's anything we can help with, it's best to contact us via our website (there's a whatsapp link that you can click that'll connect you directly to us) - we're always keen to help troubleshoot and if there's ever any doubt that the cylinder could be the cause we'll always be more than happy to sort a solution out :)

    Hi. I live in Ajman UAE. Which supermarkets/retail shops have your cylinders refill/replacement service? Or do I have to use your online website exclusively for this purpose?

    1) Do you answer comments? I don’t see any.
    2). After you create a bottle of sparkling water, how long does the water keep the fizz? Are there special tops for the bottles? Can we pour the sparkling water in our own smaller bottles and have it still hold the fizz?

    • @bubblebro9500
      @bubblebro9500  4 роки тому +2

      Hi! Looks like we missed a previous comment that needed a reply, but we definitely intend to answer queries where possible :) in terms of how long the fizz holds, it's pretty much like any soda - we've tested out leaving a full (carbonated) bottle in the fridge for a couple of weeks and the fizz was still as strong as a freshly-made batch. That said, opening and closing the bottle or storing a partially-empty bottle will cause some or all of the carbonation to dissipate. Each bottle has a cap (one comes with the bottle that's with the machine) that's designed to hold the carbonation in, and yes - you can transfer the sparkling water or soda into any other airtight bottle (one that can handle the pressure of a carbonated drink without leaking) and it should hold the fizz. You'd just have to be gentle when pouring the sparkling water into your other bottle so as not to lose too much fizz. I hope this is the information you were after?

    Can you use these cylinders with the DrinkMate Spritzer? Like can you put these in the Spritzer model and then just not put the bottom on?

    • @bubblebro9500
      @bubblebro9500  4 роки тому

      Terribly sorry - somehow we missed your comment, apologies for the delayed reply! I'm not too familiar with the Spritzer yet, but I believe the connection / cylinder thread is the same and should fit. I'll be checking with the folks at Drinkmate and I'll update this comment or post another reply soon once I get an official answer from them. Hope that's alright!

    Can you add fruit like cucumber or orange slices?

    • @bubblebro9500
      @bubblebro9500  3 роки тому

      Ideally, no - it's best not to carbonate anything with pulp or chunks of fruit because it can potentially plug the Fizz Infuser. It's better to add the fruit pieces after you've carbonated your water. That said, if you must ;) just try not to allow the foam to reach to the Fizz Infuser tip when you depressurise. Then, after you’re done carbonating, soak the whole Fizz Infuser in water to completely clean it.
