Thanks for the great comparison video Bob! I’m sold, been wanting to try a different muffler on my little 435 to compare against the modded stock one. Do you know if there is a baffle inside the dual port or is it just two pipes into an open can?
I think they went out of business. I can't find any of their products or website anymore. 2 years ago, I purchased a dual port muffler for my Stihl 026 for $46.00, and I love the results. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on it because you can't find them now.
Arrestor only doues not open anything if it is clean. The tiny outlet inside is just to small. Grinding out the baffel will help a lot. Did that on my Mc Culloch 410 elite. Witch is the same HQ saw under the hood.
Yes, the tube is the way to go, not the hole. I can drill, but I can't weld. Now, if you can do both, then it's a no-brainer to make your own. Aside from better performance with the tubes over the holes, they are also more aesthetically pleasing as they have that classic muscle car look.
Holy crap what an upgrade!!
Just ordered one for my 372 xpw
Yes they make mufflers for many different saws.
I have never seen any saw increase in performance that much from just a muffler mod. the magic muffler does not seem to be for sale on eBay anymore.
The magic muffler hahahhs

Thank you Tank, I have fun testing performance parts. No baffle inside, open can.
Hey Bob. I just visited the Rippa web site but couldn't see if they make any for the Husqvarna 445e II ? Can you special order them ??
I know you said eBay, but can’t find them,, you got a link?
Been trying to order one but site says not taking orders.
*googles dual port 445 muffler*
Wow. These seem like fairly conclusive results to me!
Subscription earned.
Wonder if this muffler will fit on the 450 rancher ?
The 440 stock muffler looks to be the same as the 450 rancher .
Odd that the same muffler fits the 435, 440, 445, 450. So if the mod works on the 440, it should work even better on the 450.
cannot seem to find one. I've checked amazon and ebay.

How did you modify the plastic cover to expose the muffler? I’d like to do some mods to my 440.
No cutting was done. Rippa mufflers bolt right on.
where do you get the tool to adjust the carb?
I bought an assortment pack from ebay. Husky uses the spline tool in the kit.
Pine Barrens?
Guys there back in stock 8 left run on over!
What is the bar length?
18 inches
Husq-varna there’s no “a” between there lol
You are correct gamingfarmer. Thank you.
There's a Y and no qvarna in it where I'm from.
Just taking out the spark arrestor screen does the same thing.😊

Where can I get one
Ebay has them
rippa-mufflers.square.site/
They're not accepting orders right now. Trying to find one for my 440.
Where can I buy this
Look up Rippa on eBay
@@_roughsawn_3990 there is none left was planning on ordering it tonight
Ebay
@@bobd6852 wanna do a video on adjust the carb lol for the muff thank u
These new EPA saws are running too lean!!! Less than a quarter turn ccw on High and it’s perfect
Why wasting money? I have drill!!!!!!
Remember a hole in a muffler is an exhaust leak that losses back pressure. A properly dimensioned tube maintains back pressure.
