YES DUDE. The song as well as the entire album, is REALLY good. Not a single bad song on it. I love this record. It's really rare that I find an album I can listen all the way through without skipping songs, so albums like this are really special to me. Currents, thank you for the amazing album. Here's to many more!
"This will be the tale of my resolve" is such a cool line considering the fact Brian Wille had a band The Tale Of My Defeat that also had a song titled Resolve. This dude is a lyrical genius
This band needs to get bigger man Idk why they are so underrated especially in this genre been listening to metal core forever and they definitely deserve more recognition this album is the best I’ve heard like ever
Sounds like a healthy mix of Fit For A King, Bad Omens, and Architects. Album of The Year at this point. Glad I can say I'm from Connecticut like you guys are.
Doesn’t come close to beating Heavener on a full album basis but still a good album. Chorus’ are way too samey and doesn’t compliment the song/instruments nearly as much as how Invent integrates their cleans. And the production is muddy as fuck
@@Wagwanfam69 I actually like the mix, although maybe I need to hear what the album would sound like with “better” production. The choruses though…yeah a lot of misses this time around.
@@someclownontheinternet9398 unless you have decent headphones on the leads are very hard to hear and they’re too far in the background and the bass/drums just kinda muddy and blend together. Really wish the drums would pop more. May just be personal preference but been seeing a lot of similar remarks so I don’t think I’m fully alone in thinking it. Still a solid af album tho. Just personally I don’t think they’re gonna reach TPIFS and ILTDI type of quality again
@@Wagwanfam69 you're praising Heavener while shitting on the production HERE?? Damn, and here I didn't think that people could blow anymore smoke up that album's ass. It's Misery Signals' Absent Light with more cleans and worse production. 9 years too fucking late.

Love the switch up on this track using Mr Wiseman on vocals. Just a thought out of the blue, would love some vocal features on the next album! Very solid track!
Personally, not a fan of Chris's vocals on this song. I think his voice fits a lot more in SoI. Still an absolute banger of a song and I'm sure it'll grow on me!
Worst song on the album. There was not need at all to add SoI sound (cliche symphonic keyboards and Chris's vocals). 5 out of 10 for this song (same time All other songs on the album are from 8 to 10 out of 10!)
The breakdown........ the entire song....... the entire album......
Thank you Currents

Brian and Chris singing together is so majestic 👌
This is definitely my favorite song on this album!!
This whole album is a fucking masterpiece ❤

They're getting out there 🙌
I hope so
Cuz they don't have that pop element. That architecs and bmth, and others have.
Sounds like a healthy mix of Fit For A King, Bad Omens, and Architects. Album of The Year at this point. Glad I can say I'm from Connecticut like you guys are.
Oh wow
Yeah I can hear it in the chorus

“I’d be the first to say I’m sorry, but there’s no time left for remorse” 🔥
I LOVE CHRIS' VOCALS LESSGOOOOO
The vocalist is called brian
@doomedguy5930 Yes but it's the guitarist singing in the chorus. His name is Chris
I can see behind your eyes
Like a window to your soul
I can see the doubt consuming from the outside in
If I can't get out of here
Will you promise to be strong?
Find a way to stop our history from repeating
I can't shake this feeling
I see the signs that we've gone astray
So now we close our eyes
We'd rather die than face all our mistakes
It's no use concealing the writing on the wall
Tonight we dine in hell, so here we dwell
I'd be the first to say I'm sorry
But there's no time left for remorse
Another relic frozen in a time I can't remember
You will not defeat me
This will be the night I take control
You will not defeat me
This will be the tale of my resolve
I can't shake this feeling
I see the signs that we've gone astray
So now we close our eyes
We'd rather die than face all our mistakes
It's no use concealing the writing on the wall
Tonight we dine in hell, so here we dwell
Tonight we will die
Bound together now
Tonight we will die
Bound together, we are forced to take the fall
Tonight we will die to recover the world
I can't shake this feeling
I see the signs that we've gone astray
I see the signs that we've gone astray
I can't shake this feeling
I see the signs that we've gone astray
So now we close our eyes
We'd rather die than face all our mistakes
There's no use concealing the writing on the wall
Tonight we dine in hell, so here we dwell
Just wish it was longer I need more!!
Best song on the album. Cant change my mind 🤘🏻
This song is as good as music gets
This has got to be one of the best choruses I've ever heard.
Shadow of Intent energy 🔥
That intro verse truly is perfection to me
but the cleans are waaay to quiet in the mix
Tonight we will
DIEEEEEEEEEEE

You should check out Chris's other band as well. Shadow of Intent. He does quite a bit of backup vocals.
And every song is top tier, just like with Currents.
I have to say.. This song hit me hard.
The intro brings me into the lair of Dracula himself. Geezoweezo.
this band only drops bangers.
That's Chris singing on the chorus, no?
I'm having this exact discussion with my friends and we can't tell lmao
It's gotta be. With maybe some Brian underlayers
Yes
Chris who?
@@Dutch_Garrett1221 the bassist
I've just listened to this song 3 or 4 times on the way home, convinced it was Sam Carter from Architects as a guest vocal.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This reminds me of shadow of intent

Why the hell clean vocals in verse are so buried in mix? At least it’s way lower in the mix than it should be.
