I follow blake on insta and he started when I believe he was 16 or 17 and he multitasking between vocals and guitar which is really good, kinda reminds me of matt from bullet for my valentine
a minute in and its a wild listen because you can clearly tell that this man worked on the poetic edda while still hearing all the differences from when hes working with synestia, the song is like a stepsibling
2:29 - 2:41 not only is this one of my favorite parts of the song but its becoming one of my favoirte parts of any song because of how well mixed and balanced everything is. Blake is doing an amazing goblin screech, the chug is definitely chugging and the impending doom sound getting louder is just 🤌🤌 chefs kiss gents.
This is every bit as great as the stuff on the Poetic Edda collab. I'm thoroughly impressed. It's also really cool to see the band performing in a video for the first time.
@@SAMURXAI that's nuts! I've seen him play the drums on instagram, so it's not like he can't play them. I wonder if he just had help with writing the drum parts.
Crazy to see this band go from 1 man doing everything to finally having a full band and touring👏 Blake is insanely talented and deserves more credit for the massive work that goes into everything Disembodied Tyrant and even producing/co-producing for other bands🫶
The end riff needs to be implemented in a future song. It is so good, I honestly can't fathom how you made a single riff that is literally perfect, but only used it for the outro
that final breakdown actually made me shed a few tears and gave me goosebumps. i could listen to that one breakdown on repeat for the rest of my life and die happy
I've always thought some extreme metal styles shared aspects of Classical music. I first heard a confirmation of how powerful the combination could be with The Human Abstract, then again with Archspire, and now with Disembodied Tyrant. I'm loving it.
god damn 0:58 gives me Infant Annihilator Vibes but with symphonics. And the squeals with the slam riff at 1:26. How the Symphonics and the general Mix sounds. You guys truly outdid yourselfs
Bro, you gotta listen to more stuff. There's plenty of wicked good deathcore behind the scenes that swing with the heavyweights of deathcore like SOI. Distant is one that's on the comeup I recommend. Bodysnatcher too. Paleface Swiss is magnificent. Mental Cruelty is chefs kiss Italian hand gesture. Black Tongue is thicc af. Worm Shephard is lowkey the absolute best in the game right now and a lot of people don't even know their name (yet). I'm partial to Carnifex though, they're my favorite Deathcore band.
my chrother in brist, not only has deathcore evolved so much in the last couple of years, but first mental cruelty dropping zwielicht, then DT and syneestia with the poetic edda EP, and now THIS. we are at the peak now. i cant see deathcore getting better than this right here. my mind is completely blown away
Disembodied tyrant is easily my favorite band ive just started listening to this year. They keep putting out music like this I'll be with them for the long haul🤘
These guys are black metal, death metal, prog metal, pornogrind, symphonic metal, hardcore, math metal and deathcore all rolled into one and I love it! 🤘🤘🤘
This song lyrically is what it would be like to open the bowels of hell and walk around. It's an incredibly vivid description of hell on earth, the devil pulls no punches - he takes no prisoners, leaves no stone or corpse unturned.
My god, it's like deathcore Cradle of Filth, but he explores every musical route, giving so much more depth to feel out these sections. It's like he doesn't stop until the same part can be written and felt 4 or 5 different ways. Dude. It's awesome.
The album is by far Old Mans Child’s best. I got it a few months after release in the USA and it blew me away. Great memories of breaking my neck repeatedly back in the day. Totally worth it.
Ahhh the talent that inhabits this genre. It's not even my genre, I just love the endless skill of the musicians that choose this path. It just sounds HUGE! Godly. End of times.... Bravo ❤🎉
i got stuck in traffic and caught the end of the final song at the show tonight in Baltimore, i was sad i missed you but then realized this was my friends first ever show, and he was like DUDE WHO TF WAS THAT, and then later in the night he talked about it was the best first impression to going to a concert ever. thank you ! 🤘🤘

Amazing show
we'll know if he's achieved his full potential when the mustache is gone too
😂😂😂😂😂
nice pfp
Guy looks like the lorax, he’ll brutally speak for the trees
This was my Grandmas favorite song growing up.
She was born an hour ago?
Based grandma.
This song listened to my grandma growing up
Grams knew how to thrash
Plot Twist: She's playing the orchestra sounds in the background
Blake is playing guitar and doing vocals like this....he's a MONSTER! Stoked to see the whole band too! This is perfection!
Hands down gentlemen, you guys have found a special place in our hearts...we love you!! ❤
1:14-1:24 has to be one of the hardest segments ive ever heard in deathcore, im obsessed
sick moment, The Faceless and The Zenith Passage vibes
definitely check the zenith passage / soreption then
@@Guhberry lmao i was immediately like "wow this is just like a Soreption riff" yeah

And immediately into pigsqueal, its amazing
All I've ever wanted in my life is Fleshgod Apocalypse with breakdowns and modern deathcore vocals, and I now I have it.
Came here to say this but you beat me to it
While I completely agree, Shadow of Intent filled that void for me for a long time
Yo I also come from morphine Waltz by fleshgod apocalypse both are peak
Thats right
Disembodied Tyrant is the breath of fresh air deathcore needed. This is fantastic.
Disembodied Tyrant never disappoints
Preach 🤘🏼

The First EP Is Bad Because Blake Enter On Band After This Work 😎
@@jayystructionyou sound like a cornball… When the 17 year old dom created the band it was good so don’t be a cornball

A waltz in 4/4. That's aberrant by definition. Christ this goes and goes. And I am LOVING it.
The outro is game changing. That distorted guitar during the quiet moment at 4:34 is one of the coolest things i've heard
Despite of his rage, he s still just a tyrant in a cage
😆
that's funny ...I thought it was Billy until he took that solo at 02:06...I get the whole Darko vibe but I can you sing it in the shower ???
Blake making this look effortless
Definitely wouldn’t expect a bloke named Blake to make some of the best deathcore out there.
I follow blake on insta and he started when I believe he was 16 or 17 and he multitasking between vocals and guitar which is really good, kinda reminds me of matt from bullet for my valentine
History is being written, this is the future of deathcore and extreme music.
No. This is nothing new
Too generic
I'm so glad that yall did The Poetic Edda. It introduced me to Disembodied Tyrant and ever since I became fucking obsessed. This is so good.
I have to try not to over-listen to Winter.
Nothing better than a short walk in the woods with relaxing music. ☺
Everything about this.
The production, the performance, the instrumentation, the mix.
It's all so good.
The word “perfection” is tossed around.

I've waited years for this!!!! And Merch!!!
Im going to see this live. Favorite band of 2024
The last thirty seconds of this is one of the coolest things I've heard in a long time.
Blake really is a generational talent. Holy fuck.
this HAS to be song of the year
It's between this and Flying the Black Flag for me, which funny enough, Blake Mullens also had a hand in creating.

That fill at 2:51 is tasty as fuuuuuck with the blast afterwards. Drummer is a beast
Never seen someone playing the guitar and screaming like that at the same time... impressive
Check out Necrophagist!
Not deathcore but technical metal, check out Nile and Necrophagist
Maximalist metal is in perfect hands. This band is phenomenal.
This music video is a masterpiece
It’s a crime you guys don’t have atleast 500k on this. Holy fuck
The song has lot of rhythm in every parts and never be the same except for the reff. What a genius.
Disembodied Tyrant has some of the best double kicks I've ever heard.

Felt I needed a seatbelt sitting on my couch...
Must investigate further...
Nicely done.
I couldve listen to that breakdown at 2:30 for like an hour straight. Holy fuck that was glorious
That gallop(?) is so nasty, then right into that neoclassical riff. Tasty
I don't normally listen to stuff this mellow, but this is pretty good 👌

Hell yeah! I just bought merch last week and now this.
Same. Gimme more

This album is prolific. Don’t stray from this vision.
The fact that you're doing these vocals and playing the riffs is fucking insane. What the hell are you
I HATE and LOVE to say this, Shadow of Intent finally has competition.
