Great and in my opinion the best explanation on the V4. Thank you.

Hey Jake, I really dig the chords and riffs (songs) you play. Do you have music available for sale? Or a band with music for sale? CD? Vinyl? Downloads?
    Thanks man 👍

Thank you so much for asking. I'm really glad you're enjoying it. If you search Repair To Ruin on Spotify, that's my band. I'll be getting lots more new music out this year hopefully :) Thanks again!

Does Fender Mustang LT25 has this feature like blackstar ,where I can plug the amp to my phone and use the camera app to record guitar audio and video at the same time?

I have this amp, got mine for around $130. new, and for that price its an incredible amp.
I use mine on my front porch playing it with backing tracks off youtube mainly.
The 2 things I really would like to see in this amp that are not there is....
    1. A REAL 1/4in line out to go to my recording interface.
    2. Blutooth so I can play my backing tracks without needing a cable to attach to my phone.
The whole american to british knob is just a glorified tone knob and disappointing honestly.
The effects are glorious, they are the shining feature of this lil amp. being able to run several effects at the same time is a HUGE plus.
It gets pretty loud for what its made to do.
For the price and what the features are, if you want a lil practice amp, you cant go wrong with one of these and its worth it even at full price.

Can’t believe it took them this long to switch to USB C, great demo. Enjoyed hearing “hurt” in there

New subscriber absolutely love your presentation skills and your playing. Before I go out and buy one of these is it still the best practice amp for home use at low level volume?

I own a ID Core stereo 40 which I bought used a few years ago.. yes the original version that has most of the features in the V4 but lacks Blu-Tooth. but then i don't need it anyway. I bought it at my local Music-Go-Round for under $100 and got a "Starcaster" 'Strat' By: Fender (said it on the head stock) a year later for about the same price, but then I had bought the guitar to strip it down totally and rebuild it to the extreme. With many upgraded and added parts and electronic tricks that all together are way overboard. but then it's what I wanted and it all works and looks really great. The guitar was a total of around $400 or so total including the guitar I started with including some tools i needed for the build. the space theme stars and planets paint job was spray can and airbrushed detailing with a semi gloss clear coat. The hand made custom extended stainless steel pick guard sports 3 quad rail(and quad coil) humbuckers that when coil split are in effect still humbuckers but sound like single coils the way I wired them so that when split, the active coils are toward the bridge for a brighter tone and the inactive are towards the neck. Wired like a 50's les Paul with coil splitting through 500K audio taper P/P vol. pots and 500K audio taper tone pots with .047 orange drop tone caps. The bridge tone pot also a P/P to activate the bridge and neck P/U's together regardless of the 5-way switch Position. with all the variations in the amp and all those in the guitar the tonal variations are virtually unlimited. this guitar looks so cool and plays great too. I renamed it the "Stellarcaster" In line with the paint and hand made brushed stainless steel pick guard with the chrome knobs, roller saddles in the bridge with it's upgraded solid brass full size trem block, roller string trees. titanium nut and locking tuners. The custom paint job on the body and head stock really set the build off to a new level. If I want even more power from my rig I can o from the headphone out of the amp into the CD in of my surround sound system receiver for a more full and deep tone with all the surround speakers including the subwoofer. through a 1/8" stereo to 2 RCA jack adaptor cable. I like it loud as I'm a child of the 60's and 70's. Even at the age of 65 I still like it really loud. If I want to anoy the nosy neighbors I can hook it up for max output. If I want to go stealth mode I can just plug in my headphones and play to myself as loud as i want. this is my very firas guitar build/mod project but then I will build my guitsr collection by hand all by myself literally. the next will be a classic style T-style Esquire classic wiring included. zI have a Dylan Talks tone Tele bridge P/U fir it given to me hy Dylan in a random give-away. after that maybe a SG and then a Les Paul Jr. double cut. slab body, bolt on neck. with P-90's . After that who knows. but I want afew versions of many different guitars that I've built myself.. cooler and much cheaper than just buying them new or used which I would prefer anyway. but then the pride i can have of building them myself is much better in my opinion. Wanna Play it??

I recently bought the 10watt v4 because my old v2 died and to be honest, I think the v2 sounded better out of the box. So much in fact that I never bothered with the software beyond messing around for a while with the community patches. I will have to get a windows laptop to check what I can get out of it with the software.
I still think is a very nice desktop amp though.

I’ve got the 3 as well and I must say I find most voices aside from Clean Bright to be a bit muffled sounding

Did you mean it's the Ultimate Home "Practice" Amp? You do know that instead you wrote 'Practise" amp

    • @JakeLeighGuitar
      @JakeLeighGuitar  5 місяців тому +5

In UK English, “practice” (with a “c”) is the noun and “practise” (with an “s”) is the verb.

    • @jamescreswell9037

You don't need them with this DIGITAL amp. It's got it all. Just buy it's clever Blackstar FS-10 footswitch to go with it for less than the cost of a single prominent name brand pedal so you can toggle-cycle between either all 6 voices up or down, OR select between two preselected voices AND toggle effects on or off. That adds pretty much all the versatility most people will ever need out of any home or small studio/venue amp. I use mine with that footswitch along with a Tuner pedal, Booster pedal and Looper pedal connected in that order. I have other pedals but find no need for them when using this amp.
All that said, yes you can use other pedals successfully with it, e.g. Chorus, Classic Overdrive, Fuzz, Distortion, but there is no separate effects loop nor a preamp bypass channel/circuit. Everything goes through the single input and through the preamp. In truth, neither bypass or pedals are needed for the reason stated in the second sentence of my first paragraph above.

The Blackstar Debut 50r is _superb_ with pedals.
