I was in a real craft funk when I ran across this video. Took me a few weeks but I finally finished my TAG book!! Wish there was a place I could share it with you...but regardless, thank you Natasha for your inspiration. It was well received and much appreciated.🥰
Thank you Natasha. You have been blessed with the ability to create such sweet and beautiful journals with embellishments. I love the story behind the old picture. AND it just might be that she is waiting for her husband to come home. Your videos have helped me in my journal making. Thank you again.
I love the story filled tag. It is so perfect with the journal. Cant wait for the completed flip through. Another creative moment I have taken out on my 46th Anniversary while my hubbie is out mowing the leaves off the lawn. Now I am going out to eat with him----that is my little story. Thank you for being a part of it.
I absolutely love the creative mind you have! I’m a complete newbie and I’m overwhelmed with the stuff I’ve collected because there’s no order or organization to any of it. This booklet is a brilliant way to organize tags, tucks, pockets and paper clips, the list just goes on. Do you have a video of how to ensemble and sew this together, I’m anxiously awaiting to use my sewing machine for this new crafting journey I’m on. Thank you for all the knowledge and wonderful videos that you share for all of us to get ideas and learn new things.
Love your tags journal & tags I also love making them in different sizes & shapes, long and short. Don’t know how I missed your video on how-to tag journal but I’m to watch it now. Thanks for sharing 🤗😉.
I am a new subscriber and have to tell you I love love love your channel! I have been binge watching your videos for a week now and loving all of your projects. I have been so inspired with all the fun things you have been making. Your style is beautiful.❤
Love your ideas you're right about the doily being covered I kept saying to myself if the doily was turned around so that the round edge was hanging out from from the picture you would have seen the lace part of the doily. A little trickI learned to take a stencil brush with just a little bit of paint on it and color the doily to go with whatever I am creating. That way you can just buy white doilies which are easy to find customize them to your project
Love it, Natasa! And the tag book is super pretty! Your story about the lady waiting outside for her husband, made me smile!! Love your thought process on this very sweet tag! Hugs dear crafty friend...❤ ~Suzy~
Love how you made a story for the tag - fun! Also, I really like having the tab coming off the top being placed off to the side for a change. If you had a series of same-size tags, you could stagger the tabs across the top. Looking forward to the final flip-through!
Love it! Thanks for sharing the process, especially the "mistakes." It turned out lovely in spite of you thinking you should've done a few things differently and it was encouraging to see you push through.
Such a lovely idea Natasha ♥️ I love using my sewing machine and I ink a lot too! ♥️ I wish I could find that glue in the US. Your tag turned out beautiful. I really like the fabric at the top left.
sassafras and scraps In the US I think any of the Beacon brand clear glues, such as Fabritac would be the same. Except Fabric Tack is pricey, but I love it for all the reasons Natasa says. It is all I use now.
Yes, as Susan says, the glue I use is the same as Fabritac I imagine. But Fabritac is so expensive! I was trying to get it here in Australia, and its way to pricey for me. But there are other glues, just look for "acetone" somewhere on the bottle. :)
susan myrick It definitely is pricey but I can use a coupon! I also work at Michaels so I can get it anytime! Thanks y’all I had no idea it’s basically the same! 😊
Beautiful tag. I love the lace and the muted tones, and I love the story behind it. Not being a true treasure journal maker myself, I'd like to ask: What are tags used for?
That is an excellent question Darnelle, as I too struggled (and still do) with the 'point' of tags. Up until recently, they were only a nice thing, a pretty thing to add to my journals. But when I started actually journaling in a junk journal that someone else made, I HAD to use the tags. So. I would journal on the page, and then use the back of the tag to write something: the golden moment of the day, a quote relevant to the day, a lesson learned that day. Something like that. That's the way I interpret them. I hope this somewhat helps you :)
@@TreasureBooks Natasa, thanks for replying. That's a beautiful idea/sentiment. Now I know how to use them. I'm always scribbling down an interesting quote that speaks to me. Or an idea that comes to mind that I want to pursue further. Or a rough sketch of a design I like (both graffic or clothing related)... An outfit idea. Sometimes some random dialogue (I enjoy writing novels and short stories - sometimes poetry). Yeah, I'm a natural born scribbler. :) The problem is I scribble it on a random envelope, or scrap of paper and it gets misplaced. Thank you. I'll be making tags now. That way, I can easily find my inspiration seeds. I absolutely love that idea.
Dear Natasa...I am trying to absorb your ability to go with the flow and not over-think things. Making some progress on the little journal of yours as I include my own little random treasures without trying to create a 'masterpiece' on every page. Having fun❣
Yes Susan, that is the way to go! It's so hard not to overthink, and I have trouble with that. I just sat down to create a thing. A raggedy pocket. I put things on a piece of paper, lace and off cuts, and the whole time I'm thinking, "this looks s**t, this is a waste of time". Then I took it to my sewing machine. Added a little more here and there, and when it was finished, I was absolutely amazed and in love! And now I'm so inspired, I just want to continue this 'non thinking' process, but its nearly midnight :( Nooooooo
Beautiful tag! Love watching and listening to how your creative mind works and trying some of your techniques! 🌸 Oh and on a side note, I really wanted to try your glue bc everything I try wrinkles the paper or doesn’t stay well so I researched it. It is only sold and made in Australia and they don’t ship it bc of its chemical makeup, it is dangerous to ship. Just so you know 😁 I hope to discover something g here like it 😃
Im new to this craft and it is very beautiful my little girl has autism and we do crafts together. For the way she thinks it has to have a practical application for real life not just for pretty can you give me some examples that i can share with her to help her i think she would like this project very much. Ty
It can be a book to store your beautiful tags. When you have a birthday or anything like that, any celebration, you can choose a beautiful tag and write a personal note on the back and gift it to a person. So this would be like an album where you have handmade gifts ready to go.

Darnelle Echols most of the ones I’ve seen have a blank space on them for “journaling spots” to write on 🙂
Love it , Your story was perfect.
Thank you so much Ann :)
Great Tag Natasha
Thank you Suzanne :)
Love it!

Thank you so much Trinity. This glue is very similar to Fabritac glue. As long as its acetone based it will not warp or wrinkle your paper!
YOU rock.
Hehe thank you Gwen. YOU rock!
