Thank you for your review. If they bring the 300e to the US, I am hoping they will in 2024, I will be on board. It is a very comfortable and smooth SUV. Long distance trips are wonderful in this vehicle.
Thanks for the review. The GLC 300e is in my list along together with the Range Rover Velar PHEV. The Mercedes Benz GLC has better quality interior than the Velar. 😊
Thanks for the review, it's certainly high on my list of potential SUVs if I should decide to go hybrid. However, not mentioned was the price, which is quite steep in the hybrid configuration starting at £52k. The electric range is very impressive but not the claimed 80 miles I'm told, 55-60 miles in real world driving - still industry leading. I have a E220 and Mercedes do build lovely motors. I never liked the column gear change selector but you do get used to it eventually. I also like buttons, not chocolate ones, so not sure about the large computer screen.
I test drove this vehicle here in Jamaica, but the Coupé version. And she was smoooooooooth. Very easy to drive, great handling, great suspensions. I was thoroughly impressed by its performance, but when it comes to German brands, im team Porsche all the way. Gimme the Cayenne E-Hybrid anyday.
Well..great review, however, with options the price will be sky high, after looking at many reviews, the car that sticks out as a quality bargain is the Mazda CX60 Homura.....just less battery range at 39 miles.
As far as the DC fast charging goes, you can purchase that as an option on the GLE 450e, but I'm not sure if it is available for the GLC 300e. The GLC PHEV is, unfortunately, not available in Canada (yet).
Hi thank you for your video. Is the panoramic sunroof, heads up display and reverse or parking camera are all standard?? I’m thingking of getting Mercedes GLC300e. Thanks for your response.
We now have a Mercedes review on the Auto Social channel for the first time in over three years. Anyway, personally, I’d have the normal ICE GLC model.
We do! Hopefully lots more to come! I think I agree, the weight is pretty staggering BUT if you wanted a truly usable electric range on a hybrid, it doesn’t get much better than this!
Yes okay Tish and where can I get a loan to cover the cost of buying such a big car - No where as I am at a High Risk age and therefore my next car will be hopefully a Renault 5e or a similar small EV (Maybe a Cat)?
😢 Actually the boot volume is 470 litres with the seats up (not 400 as stated)! And for the interest of your subscribers I have a friend with one who regularly gets 70 miles on just electric!
It's (yet another) SUV, it's heavy, it's expensive (up to £72k), it's impractical for most and only really appeals to those already wealthy customers who don't look at anything other than Audi, BMW or Merc. Yes, this is a typical Chelsea tractor for those rich London families who already have a couple of other cars. For 99% of people, it's so far off the radar as to be invisible. Good review though.
This car looks great with lots of tech, but I'd choose a Q5 over the GLC on a personal level. Is it worth stretching to pay a few quid a month more for something like this, over a more affordable SUV ?
Before getting my first GLC, I was considering Q5. I chose the GLC and somebody hit me. I had a curtosy car, a Q5. I was so happy I chose the GLC. The audi is more rigid, more heavy, the steering wheel goes more smoothly on the glc, the sound is far better on glc. The only thing I liked better, was the the fact that the Q5 goes a little more down on sport mode and for this appears a little more stable. I love my glc and I just bought the new 300e.
That’s because she has idea of what she’s reviewing, she doesn’t do her homework beforehand, she’s not only done it on this one, I watched her reveiw of a Genesis I was thinking of purchasing… after watching many previous reviews, then watching hers I was sat there thinking, what the hell are you on about, your talking rubbish!!!
It’s alright, but I’d rather sink my money into an E450 4matic all-terrain estate. This one I’m just watching for Tish. I wouldn’t even click on it otherwise.
@@AutoSocialUK If you were a mum right now and you needed an estate, but you love small, quick cars… what would be your pick? Like what do you think would double as a town runabout, but also as a quick getaway vehicle for when the dad says, “I’ve got it”?

Great video Love 🙂
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. The New Model looks very nice and stylish

Aaaaand what is the total range? Came here for that and left with nothing :(
201hp engine plus 134hp Electric adds up to 311hp🤔🤔...Love your reviews...so no big deal😉..all the best from the Netherlands ❤
Love this and you look fabulous ☺️

Good review, lovely car but that battery really takes up a lot of boot space

Would have liked more details about the economy and any V2L possibilities?
there is no economy compare to RAV4 PRIME PLUG-IN..
Tish always has me in a good MODE!😉😏💖
Next hungry guy loool

Thanks so much for a great video, do you know if the GLC 300 e 4MATIC AMG Line Plus comes with Parktronic as standard?

@@AutoSocialUK Plus, the PHEV would often rob trunk space, so that’s another reason why I’d go for the normal ICE GLC.
@@DaveDVideoMaker do you know what the longest range of any SUV PHEV is? I was trying to find online.
@@AutoSocialUK I found that it’s the GLE PHEV, with a battery only range of 66 miles / 106km.

It’s not a facelift model but a new model. Surprised she got it wrong!

Not the first Merc! C63s 😄😄
First I could actually drive 😅😅😅
Old fashioned interior?? Have you seen other manufacturers 😂
I know it’s totally just a taste thing. I’ve never been big on Mercedes
I hate steering column stalk shifters. It's a deal breaker for me.
No more than 25 miles on electric alone
If I could afford a can yes why not
Sound on video is terrible
Really? That’s a shame, in what way?
