Admittedly, I get a little triggered when people who haven’t been significantly overweight share their views on Ozempic or any weight loss drug. The irony is people will say obesity is a national health crisis and a disease that requires serious medical attention, then when obese people use medicine to assist with their weight management, they’re scrutinised. WeGovy/Mounjaro has positively changed the lives of people who need it most. “Healthy weight” people using the drug to lose 5lbs are the minority. Ozempic is for diabetes and WeGovy is for weight loss.

I think a big issue here is not people using the drug that may aid them, but people who don’t need it, like celebrities and influencers who have the £££ to obtain it and use it when they don’t need it. I think that’s probably what Victoria means, inside the industry etc I imagine there’s a lot of people who abuse it which is worrying.
I also don’t think people realise how horrible it is to have your appetite suppressed either. It isn’t nice! X
🌸🌸🌸So much to say…… First, I really loved the boule top with those jeans and cap! Adorable! Secondly, THANK YOU for sharing your lovely family adventure to one of my favorite places, Zion, Monument Valley and everywhere else. Loved seeing it all unfold daily on IG, thank you for taking us all with you. Lastly….The GLP1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mourjaro, Zepbound……) craze , for lack of a better word….. I’ve been taking it for awhile now, and yes it has side effects as most medications do but the outcome/benefits supersedes those. And it’s NOT just a mater of “well, stop overeating and work out instead” that most people just DO NOT understand. I have been overweight my entire life, I could eat nothing but a bag of feathers and moderately work out and NEVER lose weight…..Seven years ago I found out that I had a brain tumor on my hypothalamus….its rare, probably had it since birth and has caused my entire hormonal systems to be completely ineffective! Finally my entire life made sense. The only time I ever lost weight was when I was pregnant and wasn’t trying…. All the puzzle pieces were making sense. So I went on a GLP1 (weekly shots) and the weight has come flying off! I am on the way to being so much healthier , and HAPPIER! But people who have never walked in my shoes, or had any other medical issue (and there are many!…) that prevents someone from losing weight simply just do not understand, they will make their judgmental opinions known, tell others ‘how to live’ , call people names without giving a pause to understand that maybe, just maybe, this meditation can truly be a blessing! Trust me , I’ve lived with hatred and judgement my entire life, I know how horrible people can be…. Bottom line, this medication WAS developed for the treatment of diabetes, but like plenty of other medications, has been useful in treating something else. People need to get off their high horse and get over it. 😄 Victoria, thank you for your lovely work and dedication to your content, I TRULY APPRECIATE YOU! XXOO 🌸🌸🌸

When you first started chatting in the gym I was thinking, wow Vic's been working hard, you've got really great tone in your arms! You've always been slim but the tone you're showing is awesome, well done you!! I don't think anyone could ever say you've taken Ozempic 😂
I've been trying to work out more regularly this year (I'm 40 in August) but I have serious issues with my back that limits me and I really love my food, so I've not made any changes on the scales but I feel so much stronger and I lift a lot heavier. It's such a great feeling, I'd recommend weightlifting to anyone!

My friend, who is a type one diabetic has been on Ozempic for several years. At first, he lost a fair amount of weight ( he was chubby, but not fat). His face looked rather gaunt.
Now that he has been on the med for years, he no longer is gaunt faced. I say that whenever you loose weight quickly, you will look that way until your body equilibrates. His weight is steady, his diabetes is controlled at s relatively low dose and he experiences no negative side effects.
All drugs have the potential of negative side effects. For people who have had a life long struggle, anything that helps is a blessing.
For people of your body type, long and lean, it’s nothing you can understand.

In Canada, Ozempic is primarily prescribed to treat diabetes type 2. It is very effective in reducing and stabilizing your blood sugar level.
Love your hair now but the pink from the old video is fabulous.
I have followed you for years, love everything about the channel. As a diabetic I can say how difficult it is to get stocks of Ozempic because people are using it for weight loss. Finding a medication that works to control blood sugar without causing chronic nausea took years and Ozempic is the one for me. Thank you for using your voice to help call attention to this!

I can recommend the purple balm and the niacinamide cleansers from Naturium. I keep repurchasing them, they're fantastic cleansers!
I love your unboxings, I love any video from you, you’re a special lady!! I think using Ozempic is completely fine if someone needs it! There’s also the same medicines made for weight loss, which is completely fine if you’re under a doctors care and you need to. There’s nothing wrong with feeling the best you can feel! Sometimes, medicines are used off brand but if there’s a shortage of it, it should go to people who need it first. And like I said before, they now make the same medicines for weight loss. Sidenote, I love the pink hair from back then!
Ahhh thank you! Oh gosh yes with a Doctors support and advice most definitely if you need it but there's so much contraversy is utilising a drug (therefore reducing availability for those who need it and also pushing up the price of the drug) that you don't rely on like others do! xx
@@VictoriaMagrath agree, it should not be used off label if there’s a shortage of it. They are making the same exact drugs under other names for weight loss so people can use it from that. Sadly, everything has gone up in price..
hopefully peoples insurance cover it, if not, the brand has coupons people can use

The ozempic talk is very complicated and I do think there is people without diabetes that actually need it but think Hollywood (and others) is using it as shortcut. You are one of the only influencer I have seen that actually talks about working hard for nice things, boosts the confidence of others, encourages and inspires to take risks in life and dressing style. You and I look very different, nonetheless you insipire to dress in items that I actually love, invest my hard earned money in pieces that I enjoy and feel good about myself. I should also mention buying things I thought I could not wear becasue of X,Y,Z but in reality taking a chance trying new things out widens your mind and gives you different perspective about life, not just clothes.

The jeans are incredible! They are called wide leg jeans in the states. Probably the same in UK.
