Unfortunately we are at the point where a 16-year old pea-brained Karen can get the number of views this masterpiece video has ..... in just a day or two, simply by wearing skimpy underwear and showing off her nice body to the world online. Not an ounce of talent is needed. Just a nice body shape and a pretty face given to them through no merit of their own.
Going downhill will always be fun but it's easy to get tired of videos of people 'shredding' downhill these days. This video is a breath of fresh air. Way to go!
I watched the other video yesterday. Now I'm watching this play by play version and in sitting here at my desk at work and I almost feel out of breath watching this! I was an avid mountain biker about 15-20 years ago now and just listening to Jeff breathe as he's ascending brings back memories of riding these very trails in Fruita, remembering that anaerobic stage during the ride(s) and remembering how much better shape I was in before a wife and 3 kids back at that stage of life!
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss the two oldest are 8 and 11. I actually got them their first mountain bikes this past year and they've gotten the bug a little. It helps keep me motivated to keep riding as well even though my single days of bike trips out west are a past memory. At least it's a healthy way to keep them outdoors away from screens.
I watched your first attempt video earlier today and then came back to watch this one. Nothing you haven’t been told before, but this is unbelievable talent. Congratulations.
Crazy good job!! I rode this trail when I rode Kokopelli trail but that was 6 years ago and I didn't dare climb up..so I have total respect for anyone making it up. Down is even hard as hell.!!
If I was with that group going down I would have told them "I'll meet up with yall later" and then watch as a mtb legend does the most impressive climb ever!
Whew, that was close. I almost wrote you off after that last video when you kept talking about the uncut, unedited run and then never showed it!!! Mad props, that was unreal!
Gnarliest climb ever! I’ve looked at this descent/climb for years and I swear, all I see is places to bounce my head off of rocks when I fall. Epic work Sir!
Wow!! Jeff, this and Brandon's 8600Ft film are prolly the best things I've seen and I watch a ton of UA-cam MTB stuff. I watched some of your tips videos to work on skills little by little. I've been track standing and trying wheelies in my backyard amd mellow flat trails so they can hopefully translate to the mountain trails. The other day I went with a couple friends and we were climbing a rocky section and I got stuck trying to go around a rock/corner , but balanced in place, tossed my front tire in place to straight out and got through it without putting my foot down. It felt better than hitting a jump or a drop! Thanks so much for all the content and stories you share to help other people. Cheers sir!
Damn! With the exception of what those lunatics do at Red Bull Rampage, that is seriously the most impressive thing I've ever seen someone do on a bike! Congrats to you TB!
Wow Jeff this really puts things in perspective. Still can’t believe how you cleaned this you really separate the lines between the pros and the bro’s. Thanks so much for sharing had to watch this a couple times to really appreciate how hard it is
I can't even ride down this as an intermediate, maybe advanced intermediate rider for several years lol. I went down to the first big step up that he came up today and cannot comprehend how someone could go up it!! This is beyond impressive!
Good job, Jeff! Interesting dry mountainous terrain. In wet Moscow last month, I ride on bushes in the mud and try to overcome wet fallen trees in the forest :-)
I just rode there 2 days ago and had to check out that climb for myself. You are insane Jeff! I can't believe you didn't roll your tire off close to the end. Nice work.
You are in great shape. Hops are indeed exhausting and add up quick. I think a bike workout can be modeled after this. 200 hops for time. Or maybe 5 sets of 40 with a big bunny hop at the end of each set when you are most tired.
Truly Epic and inspires me to push myself more on tech climbs, this was incredible to watch. I bet it's the best feeling in the world to do something of that magnitude 🔥🤙 After watching the "impossible climb"...and then seeing this, it makes the "impossible climb" look like child's play😅
Jeff, I just rode this a couple weeks ago. I'm going to post it on my channel. Correction: I just walked down this and you rode up it! You are the Michael Jordan, the Eddie Van Halen, the Steve Jobs of Mountain Biking. Skills, skills and more skills you got.
Any moon landing denier would scream "CGI" watching this. You are not the boss, you are the executive director, president and everything else in between! Amazing feat!!!
This belongs in the youtube mountain biking hall of fame.
lol thanks!
2nd that!
Yeah, if you have never ridden this or "walked" it, you would really not understand just how sick this is.
It doesn't count unless you ride across the wooden stakes at the barb wire....go back and do it again.
The one thing you don't mention if that you're doing all this at altitude! Makes it even harder! Congrats!
Thanks, I spent the week leading up to it in Moab, I think that helped me acclimate a little.
"This Is How You Climb A Mountain On A Bike Without Turning The Pedals!"
Truly amazing
Netanel Charlap I turned them one or two times. Lol

I have a wife and 3 kids as well, it's never too late to start! Especially if you focus on trials and tech riding you can do it with the kids!

lolol . Thank you! Trail District Manager
What an incredible accomplishment Jeff!
You're definitely the nicest rider I follow on UA-cam; not to mention your skills. It made me soo happy watching you clean this; thanks.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It boggles my mind watching your bike skills. Something to be proud of. Well done Jeff!
