Hydra being weird and quirky is why it's my favorite in the park. Floorless coasters aren't really my thing, but I have said that Hydra is the perfect floorless coaster for those that don't like floorless coasters. Talon is still a fun ride and is my 2nd favorite in the park.
This is actually a decent park, the coasters are all around the middle of the road, with Hydra/Talon being there best imo. However thunderhawk is where you and i differ, I find a front row ride later in the die to be amazing! I road this with my grandfather and i vividly remember being lifted form my seat and slapping back down as the train made a turn, so if possible give it a night ride in the front row, with a preferably full-ish train
This is pretty much the same order I have for this park. Visited it twice this year, once with the kids, and once with my wife a couple weeks ago. Last time I was there, we got a re-ride on Steel Force after getting the first train of the day, since no one else made it to the queue yet! If you're going to count Demon Drop, I would put it between Wild Mouse and Thunderhawk, maybe even above Thunderhawk, since it is actually a surprisingly thrilling ride. Also, Talon is easily the most slept-on invert of the pack, it really punches above its weight.
I always have a nice time at Dorney. I think Talon is a great invert with its awesome whip and forces. Steel Force gets too much hate in my opinion. I liked your review of it as being harmless fun. It’s fast and it’s smooth. If anything, it’s another big coaster I can take my kids on.
Watching Hydra’s pov back when I was first getting into roller coasters put it on my bucket list specifically for the jojo roll. Since I haven’t gone to the park yet, I can’t say much, but I still hope to get around to riding those top four (since Stinger isn’t around anymore)
I would definitely call demon drop a coaster credit... It's got multiple cars, a full circuit, runs on a track, and is gravity powered after leaving the lift. I love that ride, I've not got to ride it since they took it out of Cedar Point... Really looking forward to getting up to Dorney for the first time and riding this thing again. I've missed out on coasters so much for so long.. This year I'm getting myself a cedar fair platinum pass and getting myself a bunch of new coaster credits.
Good job! Hydra was boring after the initial inversion out of the station, but Steel Force and Talon were def the best two when we went in 2014 (and that says something that they haven't added anything since before then).
Coming back to this video after I’ve been to the park I agree with some of this but I got a night ride on both hydra and talon and it pushed it ahead of Steel Force for me
I prefer Steel Force, but Talon is a fine invert as well. Dorney was much busier than I remember in 2021, so maybe that will bode well for future investments.
With their proximity to densely populated areas, such as Philly, New York, and New Jersey, I hope to see Cedar Fair invest a little more into the place, and market it more. Nobody where I live in NJ really goes there, and that's something to be changed.
I have not been to Hershey Park around that long believe it or not and Dorney about 2010 I believe during the Year Demon Drop would someone refresh my memory of when Demon Drop was added to Dorney Park??And Yes I know I missed out on Skyrush all these Years and yes I have been living under a Rock lol but hey better late than Never and Yes I missed out on Candymonium on it’s opening year but most people probably did since it opened during the Height of the Pandemic and I got to Ride Skyrush Fahrenheit Stormrunner and Candymonium this year in late June but since Dorney is not planning on getting anything New Yet and hasn’t for really long time as you said I am on board with the Whole add a Modern Day GCI To Dorney Park I think it will be a fantastic Fit or give to poor Dorney Park Fans an Rmc conversion of Thunderhawk because Man it seems that coaster is reaching the end of service Life
my ranking is 7: Woodstock's Express 6: The Wild Mouse Coaster 5: Thunder Hawk 4: Talon The Grip Of Fear 3: Hydra The Revenge 2: Steel Force 1: Possessed
Dorney needs a Giga. Not sure if the township would allow it. My rankings would, from worst to best, would be: 7.) Woodstock Express 6.) Wild Mouse 5.) Thunder Hawk 4.) Possessed 3.) Hydra 2.) Steel Force 1.) Hydra.
This park exceeded my expectations so much. I passed it on the highway probably 100 times before I visited, but I'm so glad I finally popped in.
Is Dorney Park still rumored to get some kind of wooden shuttle coaster where Stinger used to sit or has that been debunked by now?

same. it was the first ride i went on that was upside down, since u friend forced me to and it is safe to say it’s my all time favorite ride

I rode Possessed only once in 2014 and I loved that holding break it wasn’t open obviously last year when it last went
I’ve been waiting for this video for a while

going here on Tuesday.
thanks for this
Have fun!

I went here this year too and I 100% agree. Talon is way underated alot more intense than I remembered

Talon is so beautiful at this park

It's amazing attraction ride at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom.
i have rode 1 rollercoaster at another park before what do you think would be a good second?
I’ve noticed you used Gotham City Gauntlet footage instead of footage of Dorneys Wild Mouse
Yeah, its the one coaster I didn't shoot any video of lol
You could do a talon vs great bear coaster battle because there both very good and very underrated
I prefer Steel Force, but Talon is a fine invert as well. Dorney was much busier than I remember in 2021, so maybe that will bode well for future investments.
I love the wild mouse one it's just the turns

Steel force takes the cake for me. Airtime in the front row is awesome
Surprisingly solid coasters for a smaller park.
Do you think Steel Force and Mamba are the same rating for you?
I'd probably think so

I'm getting scared by looking at those restraints. Does Talon smack your ears like many other inverts?
It's pretty smooth so I don't think so
Steel Force is my favorite coaster here
I only rode 4 of the 7 coasters
4 Thunderhawk
3 Hydra The Revenge
2 Talon The Grip Of Fear
1 Steel Force.
my ranking is
7: Woodstock's Express
6: The Wild Mouse Coaster
5: Thunder Hawk
4: Talon The Grip Of Fear
3: Hydra The Revenge
2: Steel Force
1: Possessed
Here are my rankings. 7. woodstock's exspress 6. wild mouse 5. possesed 4. thunderhawk 3. hydra the revenge 2. talon 1. steel force. I am 12.
Dorney needs a Giga. Not sure if the township would allow it. My rankings would, from worst to best, would be:
7.) Woodstock Express 6.) Wild Mouse 5.) Thunder Hawk 4.) Possessed 3.) Hydra 2.) Steel Force 1.) Hydra.
Demon Drops first drop seems crazier then other drop towers and I am not a fan of it at all
How on gods earth is steel force, lower than talon.
Because talon is better
BTW they are building a new rollercoaster
Hydra has a pretty bad B&M rattle that is headache inducing.
I’m bored without 10mins there
Talon is in the way bottom of my list.
Thunderhawk is so boring
