- Seven men were arrested for allegedly stealing more than $1 million from trucks carrying cash to refill private ATMs in Brooklyn.
The defendants allegedly watched two Brooklyn warehouses, targeted cars that were carrying cash from those locations and used various methods - including releasing air from tires - to enter the cars and steal the money.
They are believed to have committed 15 heists throughout the city between December 2017 and July 2019.

@@jaystackz3425 133,000 untaxed, get down payment on a 3 or 4 bedroom house, rent out 2 or 3 of the use that money to make payments and maintenance but most like won’t be doing that much maintenance on a decent house while still having most of that 133,000 locked in a safe, cause he won’t be able to go to a bank with it, and as for trying to explain where he got the money from for the down payment on the house he would have a got a job and saved for a year or so while renting an apartment, and ik it’s not as easy as words but it’s definitely possible if people use their heads.
Sound way to easy someone on the inside gave them that info.

The high price of ATM fees is a crime . Some businesses say they do not take credit cards only cash and have ATMs inside business that charge you high fees.

Well, guys... I hate to say. This was an inside job of a former employee or someone waiting to quit in the next several months.
Because I did that job and only someone who worked in this position would know that they had money.
Maybe if those jobs stop measly $15-18/hr then their employees wouldn't be inclined to get what they're owed. Even as a armored truck driver they want to pay $19-23 for such an high risk job

Why would you move that kind of money in cash without an armored vehicle or at least an insured courier?
Also, why would the people transferring the money be so naive as to leave the money unattended for some 'random life distraction'? Makes me think they were in on it at least a few of the times. It's possible they did follow the drivers but maybe they followed them and offered a deal to make it look like a robbery.

It’s very possible that the person getting robbed was a worker for the ATM business and let the thieves steal the money in exchange for a cut of the stolen money.

It’s not hard they watch the stores and study the days they load the atms and when they go inside. Once inside they make there move . There’s more money in the truck waiting to be delivered to other stores.

$1 million between 7 guys is around $150,000 each. I make the same a year as a contractor framing houses. But I don't have to hide or sleep with an eye open every night or risk going to jail for 20 years. These guys were slick, together they could had opened a business and earn that $1 million in a honest manner. Now they're in for at least 20 years in prison.
