** Pulitzer Prize awards are handed to the photographer not the camera!
So, truth be told, it's the person holding the camera is the artist creating the photo. Next, understand the foundation of this channel and photography itself, "the camera does not make a bad photographer a great photographer", a camera of $42 or $4,200. will not create an award-winning shot.
As far as post processing your work, well if you want to get the finest image you can after the shutter clicks, you absolutely must do some post work.

    *Photographer Carmine Taverna Defines Street Photography in these words;
Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge. Street photographers do not necessarily have a social purpose in mind, but they prefer to isolate and capture moments which might otherwise go unnoticed.
    ***Why are CCD cameras better?
CCD sensors create high-quality, low-noise images. CMOS sensors are usually more susceptible to noise. Because each photosite on a CMOS sensor has several transistors located next to it, the light sensitivity of a CMOS chip tends to be lower, as many of the photons hit the transistors instead of the photosite.

**I completely understand buying on eBay is scary. However, when you are ready to buy your camera or lens on ebay, use this checklist I have created...
    1) buy from a seller in Japan.
    2) they must have 100% positive feedback.
    3) they must have at least 100 Feedbacks.
    4) the listing must say MINT OR EXC OR WORKING OR TESTED OR LIKE NEW.
    5) you must understand the camera will Not be the cheapest one on ebay.
    6) I try to Only buy cameras and lenses from Sellers in Japan

    Must Read
"Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."
(Quote from N.F. I. The Nashville Film Institute)
**The CCD was invented in 1969 at Bell Labs by Willard Boyle and George Smith. Since that CCD FILM LIKE SENSOR was sensitive to light it was used as image sensor for video and TV cameras. It could also be used as a memory device or analogue signal delay since it's principally a kind of analogue shift-register circuit.

Say Carmine, nice to see you again. I bought an Industar 61 about three months ago from the Ukraine. I received it two weeks later. I love, love, love this lens. As always you give your viewers great advice!

    Hi Carmine
I enjoyed your video on these Ukraine/Russia lenses. Years ago I purchased a Helios-44m 58mm f2 that was converted for a Nikon F mount camera. I purchased it because of the unusual bokeh. However I read where you get the creamy bokeh when using a DSLR FX camera and not so much with a DSLR DX camera. I only have DX DSLRs. What's interesting is anytime anyone makes a video on older cameras or lenses it always seems that the EBay prices increase.
    Warm regards,
    Duane

Glad you posted this video. I have purchased a number of things from Ukraine without and problems and got quality items - Helios 44-4m 58mm lens, hard to find sized filters. Not sure now whether I get a Jupiter 85mm lens or a 24mm lens

I must say, the prices of lenses from Ukraine have never been this low (war?) I have had all of my best offers accepted from ebay sellers in Ukraine :)

I have ordered a bunch of stuff (cameras, lenses, rangefinder... probably something else I've forgotten!) from Ukraine since the start of that stupid war, and have had a grand total of one problem, an item damaged in transport. It was well packaged, so not the seller's fault but he still helped me out with a discount on a replacement. At the time when I bought them, I figured in the worst case if it didn't arrive, then I'd consider my purchase a donation to a part of the world that really needed help. Kiev cameras, Zorki and Fed cameras, Jupiter, Helios, Industar lenses, and with the one exception of shipping damage I've been delighted with every one.

Did you have to pay any customs or import taxes? Just curious because I have never purchased from outside the US before.

Hi Carmine can you please answer my question. I just added a Nikon 35-70mm 2.8D to my D3. I added the lens to non CPU lenses. Why won't the lens focus on a scene /object past several yards when the focal length is on 35mm? Thanks for your help!

The lens is a cpu lens, and very very compatible with the d3 read this; www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d3/lenses.htm
