Hello Dr. Yonit…. I went on a cruise and returned 2 months ago. I have experienced terrible dizziness ever since, but found your information quickly due to the fact that the dizziness was brought on specifically by the cruise. I am so grateful for your information. Your video on UA-cam was the ONLY PLACE that give specific instructions for getting the OKN stripes and how to use them. This channel is amazing. I’m so glad I found you! From what I gather, unless your symptoms are medically related, they are most likely fall under the anxiety umbrella, and acceptance is key?
Yes- slight caveat that I don’t use the word anxiety because people usually think of anxiety as a psychiatric symptom instead of nervous system activation, and many people who are chronic dizziness never had anxiety symptoms. I prefer to think of it as a nervous system calibration error 😊
Thank you!! How long have you been helping people with chronic dizziness? You’re very knowledgeable- more than a lot of doctors I’ve seen? Are you teaching from experience? I appreciate all of your videos!!!
Hi Kirby, I've been working with people with chronic dizziness and other central processing related symptoms throughout my entire career (12 years). My methods and approach have definitely evolved with time and experience. Nowadays I pretty much only work with the people who the medical system has given up on.
Ive had dizziness the last two years after suffering a severe bout of vertigo. Seen numerous doctors, other medical professionals with no answers. Finding this video and your explanation is making perfect sense. I do believe this is what i have going on. I will review your videos and try and help myself heal. This is so interesting. I think this is the beginning of the end. I have a horrible time trying to get up in the morning as i am so fearful of vertigo i think my brain is creating it. Any suggestions for where to start? I definitely see a correlation between my stress level and the dizziness. Its truly a living hell. Im praying this is what i need. Thank you so much for providing this fantastic information.
Thank you dr. Yo! Fatigue and brain fog are my long lasting symptoms, it starts from my eyes then goes to my brain and then to my body! When I clean the apartment, cook and clean the kitchen or take a 15 minutes walk I get so tired I often need to take a nap. During summer I was doing better but now with the autumn coming on and its sudden weather changes I find myself even more fatigued and when I feel like that my eyes struggle even more to focus, is that normal? The only thing that helps me is pacing, and taking some naps here and there but its so frustrating, I was so damn healthy before and now I can do less than 15% of the things I used to do before..
You are not alone in how you are feeling. I talk more about fatigue in this video and include some strategies as well ua-cam.com/video/eLawzXnjIP0/v-deo.htmlsi=fH57Zr__C9OVeMQg
Thank you, I love watching your videos every week. I wanted to ask a question, please. I haven’t been diagnosed with “dizziness” in any form, but rather heath anxiety and trauma. My symptoms present more as physical movement rather than perceptual. I have had precious other mind-body symptoms. I have found working with a therapist to have limited effect since I’m panicked almost 24/7. I wonder if you’ve ever encountered this and have any advice for what I should do?
I’m sorry you’re going through this. Please start with the video on polyvagal theory if you have not seen that one already. Talk therapy is not helpful for mindbody conditions so it would also be worth considering with a therapist who focuses on somatics or emotions- IFS, AEDP and others help. Step 1 is going to be to calm the nervous system and there are therapists who are going to know how to help you do that.
I have had chronic vertigo 24/7 for 10 years since I was 26 years old. I have extreme upper cervical instability. A neurosurgeon said I need c1 fusion. Is brian retraining still helpful for someone like me?🙏
Okay I have came back now to type a more in depth explanation on my phone so its easier. Back in March 2024 I drank 1.5 frozen coffees from dunkins (im not a coffee drinker anyway) & had some donuts in about a 2 hour span. My heart started racing and I felt like I was having anxiety so I laid down for a minute but it wouldn’t go away; I tried taking a warm bath but felt like I was going to pass out. Called 911 and everything checked out fine; I had SOB & Chest pains from then until about end of July. Chest pains went away but SOB stayed & on came lightheaded (like im going to pass out) & dry mouth as well as fatigued. Shortness of breath has since gone away & dry mouth isn’t there nearly as bad but the Fatigue & Lightheadedness is insane. Its all day every day , no stop in sight. What can cause this? My cardiologist said everything is good , my pcp said everything is good. All my tests are normal including Magnesium & B12 . Please help someone. Life isn’t even enjoyable.
Hi doctor, I’m diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia. As the day progresses, I go from being tired upon waking to feeling extremely tired. That’s when the brain fog and vertigo really kicks in (at around 11am every day). I’ve seen 1/2 dozen doctors. I’m not sure where to go with this. It’s debilitating. Great video btw, my conveyor belt is definitely pushed to the max due to my sleep condition.
Hi dr Yo, I believe I have 3pd or something similar, which stemmed from a marajuana induced panic attack I had around 6 weeks ago. I haven’t been right since (daily or by-daily episodes of dizziness and shortness of breathe). I have ensured to not ingest it anymore and I have already started to feel better about myself (as I also put a lot of pressure on myself in addition to this). But I would like to ask that from what I hear, to be diagnosed with 3pd you have to have symptoms for more than 3 months. Is this true in all cases? The reason I ask this is because I read a definition of 3pd to be near constant vague dizziness and brain fog which best describes my symptoms. If it has not reached the threshold of 3 months can it still be early 3pd? I have been to the doctor and my heart, Lungs and blood tests all came back clear. Many Thanks
Hi Lee, so sorry you're going through that and you are not the only person I've heard from who has experienced that. It can be "neural circuit dizziness" even if you don't meet the 3 month threshold. It is important to make sure there is no medical explanation, though. You can absolutely apply these techniques in your situation. Please consider the course, it's completely free. thesteadycoach.com/free-course
Dear dr Yonit. Every morning the first hour(s) it seems like my unbalance is much bigger than after these hours. Like it takes time to feel more normal moving again! Every day after a night sleep. But also when i lay down on the couch for like an hour. It takes time to get back in balance again. Is that normal when experiencing pppd? And, when i am able to recover, would this also become normal again? Feels like my head is not able to adjust like normal again after lading down for a while...and i am.only 48.🙏.
Wow, I have been to neuro optometrist, vestibular specialist and they can never tell me why I have brain fog. Thank you . 2 years in and hopefully it will all go away soon. Any suggestions , doctor , for motion sickness with BBBP.
I am sorry you are going through this. I always recommend getting checked out medically first to see if there is anything structurally found causing these symptoms. If not, then it is neural circuit issues which can be healed. Check out my free course for more detailed explanations thesteadycoach.com/free-course
Dear Heart: I found you a few days ago and...the lights came on...BIG TIME.I now feel like I'm not suffering from early dementia. I have had stresses over the last 2 years (illness/COVID/long COVID, the death of a beloved soul and a life-changing move - retirement- into a beautiful home courtesy of my family. So I had both sad and joyful stresses...simultaneously. I don't wish that on my worst enemy, believe me.). I'm 20% through your free course and I now feel I have the information to bring to the medical professionals AND start to work at home on regaining my balance, my brain processing and generally feeling better about myself. I'm not going crazy. I have solid information and questions I can ask. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All Love
Thanks for video. I'm really jumpy to sudden sounds but not always which is odd. Also to touch but not all. While lying in bed to sleep feel like woozy. But i tend to wakeup worried which i think it impacts my overall sleep quality even though im in bed for 8hrs or so. I also have tinnitus on one ear and feel tension in my neck at night while sleeping. So frustrated

I think I've definitely been dealing with this lately. I just don't seem as sharp as before and my thoughts are getting muddled up. Is it common to also have problems reading cuz as of now thats my main symptom...its almost like i forgot how to read. My brain feels scattered
please help me❤ i have now 4 years pppd after .bppv. In these years 90% of the time i felt processing issues and that made me feel off balance. Now, i feel some menopause symptoms also and brainfog suddenly more and more. Forget things etc. Now i am a bit confused...the processing issues i already feel for 4 years 24 hours a day...that cant be just brainfog from menopause can it? The brainfog that you talk about here, is a different sensation i guess than feeling off balance because my brain does not processing the eyes ears and touch info very well? Please explain. I❤
Dr Yo, how do you feel about silent/mini strokes / microclots being the cause of chronic brain fog? Are you familiar with characteristics of these and how can we confirm or exclude such diagnosis?
I’ve been dealing with post MDDS brain fog for a couple weeks now and every-time I wake up I feel totally fine for the first few hours of the day then it comes back. Do you know why this might be?
Can brain fog caused by PPPD be basically 24/7 even when the vertigo-like dizziness takes a break? With VR the actual feeling of swaying and tilting has gotten less intense, but the brain fog has barely changed and it's been the worst part by far for me.
in addition to dizziness i have constant head pressure. Also im even worse during weather changes and during my monthly cycle. Can this really be neural circuit dizziness?
Has anyone experienced reduction of dizziness for some time after taking head bath? Is it a typical response for MDDS or PPPD sufferers? And I always feel like there's fluid floating in both my ears especially when i rest my head in an inclined position. And that sensation goes away for a while once I take a shower. Also I get calf muscle pain when my dizziness increases.
When my brain fog gets bad, it’s accompanied with unsteady wobbly movements, issues walking, and internal dizziness. It feels like not enough blood is going to my brain. I’m fairly sure it’s some form of POTS or dysautonomia. Does this advice pertain to me or is this more likely a physical issue that I’m stuck with?
Le moyen le plus simple d’obtenir ces informations serait probablement de suivre le cours. La plupart des informations sont écrites et vous pouvez donc utiliser Google Translate. thesteadycoach.com/free-course
I'm not sure about this one. Maybe for some people that exposure therapy and pacing might work. But what if I have constant brain fog, that is not triggered by anything? It kind of looks like after my initial panic attack, my brain decided to shut down and for 2 years doesnt want to go back to its original state. There are no triggers to brain fog, its there all the time since then. Of course, strenghtening the workers is necessary, and this is what I'm doing, but I'm not sure if this is enough. What if the brain needs some kind of shock to the system, similar to what happened during initial panic attack, but inverse? I think this is what SSRI are doing, but how can we have similar effect without these drugs?
I think this may make more sense to you if you watch this video. Brain fog does not often occur directly after a stressor or physical trigger. The key is in the stress bucket. ua-cam.com/video/SKEincksdCk/v-deo.html

My problem is start I feel dizzy all day. I also have a heavy head, sometimes heavy body. What do I do? I have 3 year old I need to take care of, I need to do other things too. Jesus please I am tired of this burden.

The heavy head and body is the worst to me.. So freaking weird. I'm so sorry
hi how you feeling now? ,im going through the same
6:51 @janiceince1965 heavy head too
This channel is amazing.
Thank you so much Dr Yo! 🙏🏼 I have been waiting for this video 🙌 You explain everything so well and great tips how to move forward 🤯🙏🏼❤
You're very welcome, Sofia!
Another amazing video! Perfectly timed! Thank you so much. 💓
Thank you, Stephanie! Glad it was useful!
@@TheSteadyCoach You are truly a blessing to us ALL!!!🫶🏾🙏🏾
Absolutely brilliant vid dear Yonit! So clear and helpful xx
Thank you, Sam! I went all in on that metaphor!
Thank you, really great information 👍
Susan, yes!! The free course. thesteadycoach.com/free-course
How era yoy doing? I have ypur same symptoms
I second this.
Great video! Explains brain fog AND NCD so well.
Thank you, Lynn! I'm glad you liked it!
Great video and excellent ‘factory’ metaphor. Thank you Dr. Yo.
Thank you, Paula! I went all in on that one!
#1 thing for me that I got outta this one is practice 💡🧘 MINDFULNESS 🧘 💡 8:20
Huge help for sure!
I have had chronic vertigo 24/7 for 10 years since I was 26 years old.
I have extreme upper cervical instability.
A neurosurgeon said I need c1 fusion.
Is brian retraining still helpful for someone like me?🙏
Brain fog is like feeling dizzy, like your head is heavy, like drunk but not pleasant, like dazed inside?
Yes!! I feel like this all the time
@@lisajennings3985hi, how are you doing?
Hi dr Yo,
I believe I have 3pd or something similar, which stemmed from a marajuana induced panic attack I had around 6 weeks ago.
That is normal for PPPD!
@@TheSteadyCoachAH thanks a lot!!!
Wow, I have been to neuro optometrist, vestibular specialist and they can never tell me why I have brain fog. Thank you . 2 years in and hopefully it will all go away soon. Any suggestions , doctor , for motion sickness with BBBP.
Please take the course, it’s completely free and it’s where I would start! thesteadycoach.com/free-course
Please reply me now i am ok no swaying rocking symptoms. I have hand numbness and figher tremor is this real . Pleasssssssssee say me doctor.
I am sorry you are going through this. I always recommend getting checked out medically first to see if there is anything structurally found causing these symptoms. If not, then it is neural circuit issues which can be healed. Check out my free course for more detailed explanations thesteadycoach.com/free-course
Loved it
Another symptom like Julie says in her story video is feeling like you are always having low blood pressure..(weak,fatigue,woozy) Any tips for this?
Not specifically but the fatigue ideas might help- ua-cam.com/video/eLawzXnjIP0/v-deo.htmlsi=ktIMMbIUA8_W39ck
All Love
This comment made my day, it is truly my privilege. Keep us updated on your progress.
I'm sorry you are dealing with all of that! It is quite common to have lots of other non dizziness symptoms as well. You might check out this video for some advice on what to do about your mornings. ua-cam.com/video/BZVxW25uEAk/v-deo.html
I think I've definitely been dealing with this lately. I just don't seem as sharp as before and my thoughts are getting muddled up. Is it common to also have problems reading cuz as of now thats my main symptom...its almost like i forgot how to read. My brain feels scattered
please help me❤
i have now 4 years pppd after .bppv. In these years 90% of the time i felt processing issues and that made me feel off balance. Now, i feel
some menopause symptoms also and brainfog suddenly more and more.
The only one who can answer that with certainty is a physician. There are diagnostic tests that can tell the difference.
Absolutely can be. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you for replying! That's good to know.
in addition to dizziness i have constant head pressure. Also im even worse during weather changes and during my monthly cycle. Can this really be neural circuit dizziness?
Yes! ua-cam.com/video/StYWlDFkFjM/v-deo.htmlsi=z0ihvZwq9Q49_GEz
Is VRT exercise necessary to heal from CSD?
ua-cam.com/video/jMfIcYFTrN8/v-deo.htmlsi=0zz5ndHuWAxE4QOW
Bonjour,
I'm not sure about this one.
@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you, these are ver informative. Indeed, some of that applies to me.
Dr Yonit i wish i could find the right words to express my gratitude that I found your channel. I live in Cyprus and a neurologist told me i may have Pppd.
In my country there’s no help no specialists. I live in this living never ending hell for more than one year. I wanna ask you many things ,but the thing that concerns me the most ,is it pppd that i feel am gonna pass out ,out of the sudden? My blood pressure is perfect every time i feel this. I wanna volunteer so they can find a cure this is a nightmare 😔

Alot of people Bring Up Parasites when it comes to Brain Fog...🤔
Parasites can definitely lead to health problems but I think the blame is often blamed on parasites when that's not the issue.
@TheSteadyCoach ..true..i get it if there truly are signs..But I see people post something as ..OH I HAVE AN EYE TWITCH..and someone screams..DO A PARASITE CLEANSE..OH AND HERE BY MY PRODUCT..
