i moved from all jeans style to khakis/chinos. i stopped using rubber shoes aswell. im using chukka/chelsea boots with it,it stepped up my style. regardless if its summer chukka/chelsea boots are my style now.

It is a clean look. I have sand suede chukkas for Spring and a pair of Beeswax for Fall. Brown Blundstones for all year work/hike wear.

Khaki is a colour not a pant style. Chinos are where it's at tho. they can be very comfortable.

I have been wearing Polo Classics for years because they fit my body type and always with navy or some blue shade on top, its classic and foolproof.
Always get comped especially by women who know this was a classic 80s staple which fits my age.

90% of guys don't know how to dress or wear oversized clothes, just by wearing cheap clothes that fits you and you're ahead of the majority of guys.

Could you do a style guide for men’s summer evening attire in this heatwave-y summer? Many of my dude friends (including me) find it too hot to wear a long-sleeve shirt when dining in a bistro, and shorts + sandals don’t look “up” enough for dining. Any suggestions?
It's always a balancing act of compromising between style and comfort. For warm summer evening dining, I'd do:
- Linen shirt (either short-sleeve or long-sleeve slightly rolled up)
- Linen chinos (or shorts if it's casual)
- Loafers (suede for cooler and more casual) or espadrilles (coolest and most casual) with no-show socks (preferably a linen blend)
Rayon can be blended with the linen for any of the above; it's cheap and synthetic, but it is cool and breathable (more so than cotton).
@@MayTheSchwartzBeWithYou You could also go with a well fitted polo shirt designed to tuck into your linen chinos/shorts paired with loafers and a belt that matches.
Cool suggestions tho ( we) stylish men wear these ways etc. I’m one of them However, can you also point out your models ( mostly) wearing Suoer tight jeans or casual pants. Looks like women’s joggers / tights 😜. I do wear tight jeans but like Suoer tights all the way ankle 😝. Just saying.

Since chinos are very mainstream nowadays just like uniforms, i decided to throw them away and back to jeans and finally try oversize structure for a change and step from my comfort zone ( chinos+ slimfit top).... And so far so good 😁
Issue with chinos is they get stained or dirty easily, jeans are easier to clean.
I moved from jeans to chinos simply because they are lighter. More practical

I've heard good reviews of Goodfellow brand Target chinos..
Check for sales on Bonobos, athletic fit if you lift on leg day. Banana Republic/J Crew/Bonobos run sales fairly often.
On the inexpensive side Goodfellow from Target. For a higher end product I like Woodies. They can be semi fit to your size.

I am confused about the colours khaki, (light) sand and beige. It all looks pretty much the same to me.
All variations of the color brown, depending on the brand.
The issue is Men's Tshirts always go long and it's extremely hard to find a tshirt that stops at hip
Give Uniqlo a try if you haven't already. They have different types of shirt fits in many colors at an afforable price.

Get the basics covered especially the fit and then you can start to branch out. Not all patterns work with a person's body type (slim/athletic/overweight and short/average/tall)...there are some patterns, lengths, and colors that also affect a person's perceived body proportions such as having a long torso and shorter legs and vice versa...there are also colors that compliment or clash with a person's skin tone and hair color...this shit can get pretty deep xD
No offense to anyone here but me personally I wear what I like wether it’s fitted blue jeans, boots and a simple white v neck shirt and that’s it. I hated it when other people tried to change me into wearing what they thought I should wear or so on. I have suits for special occasions but as far as every day clothes I wear what I feel comfortable in not what other people want me to wear for my age or whatever.

@@Rosscotron Why chinos and not jeans or slacks? Belts can certainly ruin a look, but that depends more on the outfit as a whole than the type of pant.

US ppl need to learn how to wear oversized t-shirts. the extra short sleeves is outdated.
The traditional fit is a short-sleeve should hitting the mid bicep...anything shorter than that has never been a good look imo and usually indicates the fit of the shirt is too tight.

Ive had this happen too with cheaper pairs of chinos. Besides buying expensive (maybe garment dyeed fabric) one thing that helps is using a gentle detergent, wash in cold water and washing less frequently.
Normally less detergent than you would think is necessary but I also believe washing with a half cup of white vinegar is much gentler than detergent. It wont make clothes smell (will leave them oderless after dry) and it wont negatively affect color at all. Infact it should brighten and soften the fabric.
1. Woolite Dark. Use it!
2. Don’t dry cloths you want to last you long time in the dryer. Let them hang dry on a hanger taking them out the wash and hanging them to air dry in a laundry room. Or wherever you can hang something to air dry.

Not every guy is 6,4 170 pounds like the models you show in the videos. Try showing guys that are 5.4 or 5,7 that are 180 pounds lol
If youre 5’4 or 5’7 you wont look good in clothes anyways. Add the 180 part and you’re truly wasting your time. Get in the gym.

@@user-bi2lo2xe6j yeah exactly! You know I from France and in Europe we wear relaxed pant with slim shirt or an oversize-T with a regular short etc etc in Europe we playing with the clothes with material, the colors, the cut etc and it is the definition of "stylish" for me.

If she follows the principle that clothes should fit the body and look ordered, then of course she cant make a video about oversizing. Sorry but no. Skinny pants are very out. Half of your example photos showing the guys wearing pants that are too tight and too short. Secondly, shoes and boots are made to wear with socks. Sandles and slides... absolutely no socks. Everything else socks.
