Perfect fit on the bike. I like the risers you used and the seat; I didn't recall you mentioning that before. I pray for your speedy recovery from knee replacement; as a lifelong soccer player and coach - I played competitive level soccer until I was 51 (I'm 56 now) - my knees are both in bad shape (meniscus tears and surgery, arthritis, and tendonitis) so I'm probably not far behind you.
If you haven't gone that way yet, they have repaved the PCH all the way from Oceano, through Pismo at the top of Price St. No more torn up road while stuck in tourist traffic!
I am a big BMW fan! I’ve owned the S1000r, R9T, R1250R and the beautiful M1000R. I guess it depends on what type of ergonomics you want. I now want to be very comfortable 😅. I recently purchased the Yamaha MT09 SP. OH-MY! What a fun bike it is. I really love it. I have a KTM890 Duke R and I like the Yamaha much much more. Going to sell the KTM and put a BMW back in the garage 😂. I say give the Yamaha a test ride for sure.
@@AmenCornerRider, I need to be more upright and comfortable at this point. However, I want a sporty bike for a real change from Harley touring. I was looking at the Ducati diavel.
Great set up !! Screen and handlebar risers look spot on for comfort !
Thanks, I'm really excited about this bike.
Wife and I really enjoyed this video, you/re showing us what is possible.
Thanks for watching and commenting. 😊
It sounds better than what I expected!
It always sounds really good in the garage 😆
@AmenCornerRider I can tell the slip-on does add a little more joy in the sound, even with the cat still installed.
@@CrayzJohnny Absolutely 💯

i feel the same with my bike lol@@AmenCornerRider

The price we pay to play 😁 No regrets though. Thank you for the prayers. I will hit the Physical Therapy hard!!
Great looking bike Alex! You guys have a great Thanksgiving!
Just saw you comment, thanks and Happy New Year!
Another great video, just wish we in the UK had same weather so I can get back out on my same bike.😮
Wishing you better weather ☺ (I live in a really great place)!

I have many times, it’s my new favorite way to go. Love new roads😊.
I thought the seating position on the M1000R would be to aggressive compared to my S1000R, but those risers could be a game changer 😊
Gotta have the risers and... the adjustable pegs make it easier on my knees. 😊
Great content. I've been a Harley guy and want to add a fun bike. What's your suggestion? BMW's seem like the choice? And if yes, which one?

@@jimward8749Can’t blame you, the Ducati looks really nice. I would love to test ride one.
@@AmenCornerRider Would love to see your review of the diavel. What do you think is the equal to the diavel in the BMW lineup.
@@AmenCornerRider Yamaha - looks good Quite a bit lower cost.
Nice bike and rider.
Goodluck with the knee surgery
Thank you!
