In a decade Hitler had turned Germany from a literal sh*thole, riddled with corruption and anarchy into a world power, even though he rejected liberalism, democracy, and capitalism which all the other world powers barring USSR and Japan adhered to. They became too dangerous and had to be destroyed. Hitler didn't help himself either. Invading Poland was probably a mistake, but Britain was going to go to war against Germany anyway. The British were never interested in allying with Germany, despite Hitler trying really aggressively to get them on his side in order to fight off the Soviets, who he viewed as Europe's and the World's number one threat.
