A (not so) quick video showing the contents of the box that comes with the new Titanium models of the Ploprof 1200. David Bredan's review: www.ablogtowatch.com/omega-sea...
I liked the previous iteration (In terms of color black bezel with orange accents) and I like the new set up with no date (It's a must on dive watches) wish they kept black and orange around with the titanium release ; however , even with this color it has its own appeal. Its unique on its own, I mean I wish I was real diver I would causally rock this especially for exploration under the sea !
Good insight into this piece, offered a pleasingly different approach to the rest I've watched, and just what I was looking for! My AD was wearing the same watch when I visited Christmas 2020 for my most recent purchase. He was kind enough to let me handle it, which brings me to my point - I don't recall a rattle to the strap, so perhaps he's had some wear time to enable micro corrections of metal on metal contact to correct itself - not sure! I'm in the camp of being mesmerized by it's opulence each time i see it - I just love that its still available as an item for purchase. My friends think I'm crazy, but i think this is as honest and watch can be for the purpose it was originally intended to have stayed true. I'm certainly intrigued and looking to buy the black faced orange hand variant next I get the urge 👍
Thank you for watching, I'm happy you found the video interesting! It was a difficult decision for me choosing between the classic black and the titanium dial. If I'm honest, I probably prefer the look of the black, but find the titanium more interesting. Regarding the mesh bracelet, you might be right. I cannot really comment though because a few months into owning a watch I got the bracelet replaced with one from a display model (long story) at an Omega Boutique in Switzerland. All I can say is that in those first few months I hadn't noticed an improvement. Edit: Forgot to mention, after more than 3 years, it's still my favorite and final piece.
@@allydea Thanks for taking time to respond, I hope you're still enjoying it, it's a complete u-turn from the type of watch I normally go for, I think it appeals to my engineering routes as something that's totally tool biased, form and function designed for but one purpose. It's on my list of must haves...should be interesting looking into other strap options of 24mm lug width, but that said custom straps can be commissioned for just about any piece, and size isn't a problem, people wear mudmasters and the like, plus 8" wrists help! 😁
I'm wearing my Titanium as I'm watching your review. And thanks for making this review. How is the timing rate on yours (since you had mentioned that it is not great timing).
Thanks for watching and congrats! Is it a keeper? :-) Mine is now +85 seconds over 22 days on the wrist. I don't mind it too much though. I think I've outgrown the phase when I was obsessing over accuracy.
I have this same model. The rattles comes from the clasp and the extension piece they are not so precise imho. That's the only thing I don't like about this watch. Otherwise, this is the coolest one in my collection
Great review. Lovely looking watch. What do you like/not like about this watch, now that you've had some time to wear it. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you for the kind comment. I was thinking to do another video in which I give my opinions on the watch and make sure the quality is better, so your words are good encouragement. I hope to do it in the coming month.
Max Power haha, no, I'm someone else, but I see why you would say that. There is something in the monotonous tone and the slow rhythm that makes us sound similar. That's not how I normally talk, but monologing is difficult for me and slowing it down helped me stay somewhat on track. Thanks for the comment.
Max Power Thanks! I made a second video, silent this time, focused more on showing the details of the watch. If you're interested, you can find it my channel.
Looks very beautiful on your wrist and exact fitting wow. Splendid.
Thanks for posting. Especially because is the color combination I love the most of all PloProf watches.
Definitely my next watch. Thank you very much for the info on the rubber strap.
So, was it your next watch?
The Titanium Ploptof Omega is insane. I just love almost anything that's Titane, same as Carbon Fibre, cellar. As well is an insane composite.
Crazy machine. Well done!
Great review! Thanks for posting. Titanium with gray dial is definitely the most gorgeous option 👍
Nice video, great job.

Omega did make the black dial in titanium. It no longer list on their website as part of the current collection though.
I love that clock!
Then you should get it if you can! It's still my fav watch, even after all these years.
Perfect dial colour choice mate! ✌🏻

@@allydea I'd love to hear this also!
I love
You sound just like the London Watch Collector....is that you?

allydea no worries, very nice watch BTW...

For me , this version is just a homage , not a profesional tool . Seiko tuna and rolex sea dweller are the best tools!
