I love the old gentleman who survived the Nazis. He lost his parents and his brother to Hitler's monstrous regime, but he says, "I have no argument with God." After telling us he lost his whole family in the Holoaust, he says of God, ""He made it up to me." His words made tears come to my eyes.
Mr Aizenberg reminds me of a Jewish client of mine who was from Russia and made his way to the UK in the late 30s to escape Stalin. For all the suffering that he went through he had a quiet dignity and whilst he had every right to be bitter he wasn't because he realised that would only poison his life.
Not all Jews are Zionists....just like not all Muslims are part of ISIS. I use to be extremely anti-Jewish until I actually met a Jew. Do not discriminate against an entire faith of people based on the actions of a few. Peace to all the Jews.
Thats nice, what a shame that your false prophet muhammed didnt have the same respect and tolerance. If he did he might not have decided to massacre the tribe of Banu Qurayza.
Prophet Mohammad actually married a Jew. His own wife that he loved was Jew. You must be another one of those dumbass atheists who lives at the pub and has nothing to do then to spread hate. Go back to your bar and come up with another insult, because your current attempt, was an epic fail.
The Artful Dodger you are embarrassing your self. Get a Quran and read it, think about it, analyze it, talk with a Muslim scholar before you give such weird Comments. If you were intelligent you wouldn't give this comment without extensive knowledge about it. 👎

I am a Christian and I have worked with Jews and Palestinians in Israel (a Moshav, not far from Jericho). The Palestinian people are beautiful, generous people, with great family values and traditions. If I were Palestinian (or Muslim) I would be very proud. Therein lies the problem.
I'm not Jewish but I couldn't help but end up with a total respect for the religion and culture. The person I am most taken with is the older gentlemen that survived the concentration camps. God bless this man and his soul . My heart cries for the horror and the terrible loss his has suffered.
It is not as if the Jews were born as talented business people. If you read the Old Testament carefully, you will understand that the Jews were basically farmeŕs, working their land as well as skilled in certain professions like potteŕs, csrpenters, builders etc. Only after they were spread out to other countries and through decades of anti- semitism, they were fòrbìďden to practìse their original professiòns and therefore they retreated to thr onĺy way of making a living: business!! (This is to put the whole thing in a nutshell). 💰
@Ruti Sharoni Thank you for that. In the past in Toronto, I've worked in kosher kitchens as a chef. Also, in hotels holding that position. Take care, my friend.
As a young teen, my youth group spent an afternoon with a Rabbi in his synagogue. What an afternoon it was! He was so kind to us ignorant kids-answering question after question. He showed us a menorah, told it's story, it's significance. When he showed us the Torah I got weak in the knees. He handled it with such reverence & it was so beautiful. Then he took it out of it's covering-there it was-so simple- each line, each letter so precisely spaced, so clean, so clear. I thought it more beautiful than it's covering. I was afraid to breathe near it, fearing moisture from my breath would cause damage. I don't Rabbi's name, but I'll never forget seeing that Torah & how it made me feel. I have a menorah. I honor the Rabbi, victims of the Holocaust & my friends who are Jewish.
Why do you think and believe Jewish people were the only group of people victimized by the Nazis? There were other ethnicities killed in the holocaust and nobody really hears the victim card other then with Jewish people? Insert ridiculous answers and claims about me being anti Semite for asking questions below.
I actually doesn't know much about Jewish traditions. In the 80-ies I was an au-pair with a Jewish family in Reading. They weren't orthodox but only lived by a few rules (e.g. little signs with prayers on all the doorframes) and they never minded me asking about their traditions. They were the kindest and most loving and empathic people and they took me to their family as a member of the family. They loved my traditional danish cooking and treated me so good. I wish I could meet them again. Tried to google them, but haven't had much luck. This documentary is very enlightening to me. I'm just very sad for all they have to endure during WW2 and the stigma they have to live with because of ignorance.
12 year-old girl: "My mum is normal, but my dad has never been..." Jewish bar mitzwah Bollywood style! The funniest moment. Jack is such a beautiful soul and his grandson is gorgeous. I'm not Jewish but it makes me happy to know that he came to England from Poland, my country.
Me too! No argument with God, he made it up to me. That statement and the inner core of steel the elderly Polish survivor of Buchenwald brought me to tears. I am so very very happy that he survived to tell his story, what an amazing gentleman.
After watching this whole documentary, I apologize for my pre-judging. I now see a very tight and loving community. Something I wish I have in my family. Thank you for this teaching.
Wow, great documentary. The story of Jack was sooooo, so incredibly moving. His outlook on life, as well as his general spirit, is both humbling and inspiring to watch.
I love jack so much. I have seen this before. Jack is just a sweet guy and I am sure he has probably passed by now. But when he talks about his grandson is his brother I get choked up.
+J.London I don't know if you're able to answer a question. However, I'm curious as to whether it is common knowledge within the Jewish community, that Shem's lineage represents the pure Human race... You know, opposed to hybrid races.
Jacks granddaughter was the only attractive Jewish woman I saw, the rest had beaks like a flamingo. But every culture has their own ideas of beauty I guess.
Why are you being so hateful? It is ignorance that fuels hate. Please educate yourself. I am an atheist (basically) but I don't hate any people from any religion because they are from said religion/culture. That is the epitome of ignorance and lack of critical thought and logic. I am glad you do not live in my country. We have enough white supremacist and the like that the fool in charge, Trump, emboldened through his pedagogically impaired rhetoric and damaged mental state. We had relegated the hate mongers to the fringes of our society until he showed up and vomited his hate speech everywhere. Just stop hating. It goes to your own insecurities with self and your own place in the world.
+Heywood Juhblowme Jews represent the pure Human race. That's why serpent/humans want to annihilate them. And the giants (so-called aliens) don't particularly like either one... As, the REVEALER OF SECRETS shown to me --> keys to the Human race. How three races came through the Great Deluge by way of Noah's son's wives. As follows: Japheth = Reptilian (Cain's descendants, royal bloodline) Shem = Human Ham = Giants (so-called aliens) Note: Some of the Reptilians call themselves Jewish. Hence, it causes confusion between ruler Jews and Human Jews.
I had Jewish neighbors explaining to me that they couldn't light a match, turn the light on etc.. one day. I just kept nodding my head thinking why are they telling me this?! Finally like an hour later I offered to light the candle for them. They smiled so big. It was hilarious, to me! 😂
If it was a Friday it was Shabat! My late mum worked for an Orthodox family for nearly 30 years, one Friday she was a bit late leaving and the fuse box in the house tripped, it was about 4pm in December and just turning dark, the lady of the house had to ask Mum to flip the switch on again before she left.....
If I wasn't atheist I think being Jew would be for me. Some traditions for me are a bit much. In this documentary shows Jews was such a good sense of humor and I love the way how close they are to each other. I wonder if this is the majority or the exception to their life style. There are going to watch the documentary of Orthodox Jews. Can't wait to see the comparison.
As a Jew, I can confirm that we are all tight knit. Since there are so few of us, and traditionally we put so much emphasis on the family, everyone is friends.
My background is Jewish but my family are very secular. Religion for us is more just a philosophical musing than dedication to a god. I never had a bar mitzvah or observe any of the holidays (other than "Christmukkah" haha). I sometimes think about converting fully to reconnect with that ancestry (my grandparents are more Jewish so it'd please them too). But it'd probably be a reform/liberal branch. I can give up shell fish (yack) but nothing tastes better than a bacon cheeseburger so not sure about that rule there!
I loved this programme it's lovely to see real families having fun, This is so nice to see all these generations celebrating together, It's also nice to see just because some practise their faith in a stricter manner, They don't make a big deal out of the ones whom choose not to. I like that, It shows diversity & tolerance, really enjoying this glimpse in the jewish faith!
seem like really good people with a great sense of community and a love for life and family spreading a lot of happiness and joy. Not a bad life being a jew having the whole community looking out for each other. I see a lot of jews near where i live around the stamford hill area in north london where there is a huge community but i didn't really know much about them and there culture coz they just keep themselves to themselves so its good to get an insight into what goes in there community and learn about them.
They sure know how to throw a decent party aswell and id love to attend a jewish special occasion. I always thought they didn't drink tho so that suprised me.
Jam Connell Jews are allowed to drink alcohol at Purim and well, Hanukkah? There is also the Shabbat wine. However, in this documentary, you see only one aspect of Judaism. But worth checking out :)
A message to ALL The Jews of Manchester England: I absolutely LOVE ALL the Jewish people in this documentary! As an American Jew here in Akron Ohio, I absolutely love you all! We are exactly the same.... EXACTLY....THE...,..SAME!!!! Greetings from ANSHE SEFARD SHUL to the Jewish Community in Manchester England! (and elsewhere in Britain)! We stand with you! 🇬🇧✡️🇺🇸🇮🇱 Neal Sausen
@@gracie99999 : you are absolutely right of course I agree with you 100%! Did I say something untowardly ?! I don’t even remember it’ was so long ago if I did Tjhen sorry about that you are right of course!
This was fantastic, everyone was lovely but Jack the old gentleman is such a lovely person I could listen to him talk all day and tell me stories. He made me tear up about his love for his grandson, grandchildren and his brother. I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t know any of this but it’s so interesting. Such a pure and beautiful faith. 💜 xx
As a Christian man, I am thankful for being able to see a documentary that allows me to understand other religions such as Judaism. Its also special when I can play soccer with friends who are Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, Hindu, etc. We enjoy each other's friend ship and being able to talk about how our faiths are structured. Thank you Real Stories!
I love their strong family values and inclusion of everyone in family life. I think a lot of people do not experience that these days and that is sad. Some of the rules are a bit too extreme however. But they party like crazy! 🎉
Watching this because I visited a Jewish area today. Its weird but amazing at the same time, they live in one community and work hard together to make it theirs with their own stores and schools.
Listening to Jack talk about his past and sharing those memories made me cry. It reminded me of the holocaust survivors I met when they came to my school when I was 17. Listening to their stories, seeing the pictures and the pain in their eyes as they told us. It all came flooding back when I saw parts where Jack was talking.
used to manage shoe doepartment [stock manager!🤠 but i was the only person runnin that stock room 😳] sales team had to hit the basement to find shoes n many times we’d joke or talk about whatever.. anyway we had a few muslim brothers and others Italian korean Japanese and one old jew but what a character of a man he was! he was a small framed man but lit room instantly and had best sales by far working less days then the young guns and he was very aware and so through a lot like an expert untouched tho lookin beat at the maltreatment at times from some.. and he was always kind to me..he’s the one that showed me a newspaper headlined somethin “taliban links to 12 lost tribes” and the taliban spokesmen agreeing with this fax with proofs of old traditions held at time still without knowing exactly why since it’s not exactly islamic
As a Christian this was wonderful to watch. I don't understand the hatred in the comments though. All 3 Abrahamic religions say to love your neighbor, love the covert, and pray for enemies. But not many on this feed of any faith seems to have grasped that. Interesting. Shalom
islam is based on destruction. Muhammed was schizophrenic, tried killing himself, orderered his followers to lick his fingers, killed people, wasn't sure of his own salvation and claimed to be a prophet yet couldn't predict that he was going to be poisoned and die a tragic death...so he definitely did NOT start a religion of peace and this is objective information that you can look up and analyze if you choose to ignore any biases you have. Shalom
I ❤️ this video! I have a very mixed ethnic background, but I ultimately consider myself a Mexican American Catholic. I had a smile on my face and was laughing so hard because of their humor. Thank you so much for teaching me more about the communities, their differences, and similarities.
A baby does feel pain at eight days old. I don’t know why the Jews circumcise but it’s obviously very important to them. Lovely to see a community so family friendly and care for each other. We could learn a lot from them
Not sure why I'm drawn to keep coming back and watching this. There just seems to be a pure joy for their lives that is rarely seen these days. Always feel better after watching it... hopeful, I guess.
She has a vagina and working womb in good order? That's enough. To men who don't get any before they marry, even the average Jewish girtl can seem attractive. With them, it's not about love, but family. And if you are in love after some decades of marriage, that's just a happy accident.

I never knew that Manchester had such a vibrant Jewish community! I really enjoyed this documentary, it was humorous, it was entertaining and moving (Jack’s story), for sure. ❤
Keeping the Sabbath is among many things a unique system of education that teaches, from kindergarten age, logistics. The planning, purchasing, division of labour and management tasks to accomplish an Orthodox Jewish Sabbath is truely an awsome thing to observe.
Really interesting documentary, demonstrates that we are all different. Although, quite upset to see all the anti-Semitic comments left behind. As a Muslim, I am also upset at the Islamophobic comments. Live and let live.
Yes, I haven't bothered to read them as they would upset me. I hope the UK can continue to be haven for Muslims, Jews, atheists and feminists like myself. As long as Jack the older man on the video said no one interferes with each other then we can live happily side by side tolerating difference.
D Zuke, I cannot believe how articulately you have put things. Thank you so much for sharing. What you say is sadly, so true. Whenever someone is snippy or downright nasty, (And especially if such behaviours occur regularly.) I quickly realize the perpetrators are very insecure people. But let's face, they aren't bored, usually not consciously anyway, because they are so self-absorbed. Speaking for myself, I'm not the most self-actualized of people, but the diminishment of others, acting officiously, power-tripping, I just don't get the allure. Commonsense, inner dignity, and a backbone are far more rare than one would care to realize; the cyber world has done a lot of wonder things, but unfortunately it's also an all-too-easy vehicle to use for trashing others, and other views that don't reflect one's own. Indubitably, we all have our moments where we should have conducted ourselves better, been kinder, more patient and empathetic, and so on. That said, always striving to to lift others up, help inspire them, not put them down is one of the best things in the world. That and sharing one's life with animals, as they tend to be more loving, loyal, devoted, and last but not least, forgiving. Namaste.
Wonderful post! I am raised in Syrian Orthodox Christian, knew many Muslims growing up all kind sweet people, also had next door nieghbors who still had their concentration camp tattoo's. they were so sweet and kind. When we open our hearts we finds friends in the most unlikely places.
I appreciated this show so much and learned a lot about a culture that I am interested in, but do not know much about. I think it is good for people of a specific community to communicate things about their culture so that we can learn rather than do or say something mistakenly offensive-like Anglos have done to me/my kids/their dad...such as "Oh your Native American, I dressed up as an Indian for Halloween" or the comment said to us the most, "My grandmother was a Cherokee princess."
I will always remember Jack Aizenberg (by the way, that's one of my family last name), he seems to be such an honorable man. It got me when he said he had no argument against God... He endured pain, he tested his faith and he is still there standing like a champion. It reminds me of Victor Frankl. Lastly, I could not hold my tears when he said that his grandson was his brother.
Jack is really a special person, he reminds me of my grandfather. I would like to hug him. PS : interesting documentary, full of knowledge and emotions.
I am from Germany and every time I see Jack Ajzenberg, my heart breaks into. No one can even imagine what he had to go through and I feel so bad about myself and my heritage. Although I think, Jack is such a lovely decent person, that he would not see the German in me but just the human being that I am. I love the whole documentary and all it's fancy lovely characters in it. And by the way I scrolled down the comments and didn't even spot one single negative one. First time ever on UA-cam that happened to me. Blessings to all of YOU! Regards, a mensch
That woman with the big family.....the one that doesn't wear a wig and went to the wig shop to try one on......I think she amazing.....she's such a wonderful person. I'd LOVE her as a wife lol
I have seen Fiddler on the Rooff during a holiday I took with my Jewish mother We saw it on Broadway with Topol as Tevje, an experience of a lifetime I can tell you.
Jack impressed me very much! as an Agnostic I feel religion is one's individual or collective private matter. Jack's human expression is to believe in the Good in God. What a gem of a man.
It was so good to watch. Thank you for showing us. When I was young and lived in London did not know anything about this area, but now if someone kind enough to invite me I will go for a visit specially during the celebration. I can be for Purim in March 2018, would love to meet everyone and eat the good food. Of course I will help too.
i wonder why hatered only exists when it comes to documentaries about muslims and their traditions here in Real Stories , while the comment section below is full of positive feedbacks and opinions about Jews and their religious practices.I mean that's a good thing to see nice comments instead of hatered. Every culture and religion has it's own inexplicable ways to be celebrated.. My point is , you people who hate on Islam or any other religion, you gotta respect people's backgrounds because it's your duty , not just out of courtesy. RESPECT AND MAKE SURE TO RESPECT ALL RELIGIONS .
I'm jewish and I love Muslims too!! The ones that I know are such genuine lovely warming people!! We do great buisness too!!! After all we're cousins!!
I'm Jewish and I just want to say thank you! It's nice to see that people are excepting and though there are some hateful comments it's nice to know there are people like you out there🙃
Very Interesting documentary. Learned a few things about Jewish culture and religion. The only thing i found really hard to live with is not doing anything on Saturday and using any machine electricals ets or not carrying anything. But if they like to love like that it must be respected.
I'm not religious, but I've done this a few times while staying with religious families. It's actually pretty nice because you see all the members of your community in synagogue in the morning, and then spend the whole day with your family after that. you can read, kids can play, and normally you just get to catch up with everyone and eat all day. I'm very secular but its super refreshing after spending a week working and on my phone constantly.
ya i have a Zoroastrian friend and they have certain things they follow different then our traditional way yet when looked closer it opretty much as more similarities about it then not.. idk it’s just he unfamiliarity of it not so much a question of right nor wrong
such a moving documentary. beautifully done! with all the wrongs in this world, nice to see people keeping to themselves and observing what they see fit. cant equate anything nice with a horrific thing from the opposite end - they all have their own space and place. awareness and coexistence is the way to go. alas, people forget that little knowledge is dangerous. moment they step out of their little cubicle, world is big and more understanding.
740: In 740 A.D. in a land locked between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, known as Khazaria, a land which today is predominantly occupied by Georgia, but also reaches into Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, and Romania, the modern Jewish race is born. A modern Jewish race that incidentally is not Jewish. How can this be, you ask? Well at that time, the Khazarian people felt vulnerable people as they had Muslims on one side of them and Christians on the other side of them, and thus constantly feared attack from either side. Furthermore, the Khazarian people were of neither faith and instead practiced idol worship, which made them ripe for invasion by a people who wished to convert them to an established faith. The Khazarian King, King Bulan, decided in order to protect themselves against attack, the Khazarian people must convert to one of these faiths, but which one? If they converted to the Muslim faith they would risk attack by the Christians and if they converted to the Christian faith they would risk attack by the Muslims. He had an idea. There was another race that he was aware was able to deal with both the Muslims and the Christians on either side of him, predominantly in matters of trade. A race that also dealt with Khazarians in the same manner. That race was the Jews. King Bulan decided if he instructed his people to convert to Judaism he could keep both the Muslims and the Christians happy, as they were both already willing to trade with the Jews, so this is what he did. King Bulan was right. He would live to see his country unconquered, and his people convert to Judaism enthusiastically and adopt the principles of the holiest Jewish book, the Talmud. There are many things the king would not have to see, however. He would not live to see his Asiatic race of converts to Judaism, one day represent 90% of all the Jews on the planet, and call themselves Ashkenazi Jews, when in fact they were not Jews, but simply an Asiatic race of people who converted to the Jewish religion, whilst still continuing to speak the Khazarian language of Yiddish, totally different to the language of Hebrew. He would not live to see his people turn to the descendants of a man, far more powerful than him, who would be born just over 1,000 years later in Germany, a man named Bauer, who would spawn the Rothschild dynasty. He would not live to see this dynasty usurp the wealth of the world through deception and intrigue, which they would finance through the vast riches they accumulate as they usurp the wealth of the world by gaining control of the world's money supply. He would not live to see his people demand a homeland for themselves in Palestine as their birthright, and ensure every Prime Minister there from its inception in 1948 is an Ashkenazi Jew, even though the true homeland of the Ashkenazi Jews, Khazaria, is his kingdom, some 800 miles away. And he would not live to see his people fulfill bible prophecy, as the "synagogue of Satan."
A very charming and special UK cultural surprise for me! Manchester is now on the itinerary for my next visit. Stroll the neighborhood, nod politely and sample the wares and food... L'chaim 🇮🇱 🇬🇧
What I really respect in Jewish community is that they keep the family values alive and pas it down to next generation. Especially in this digital age it must be a huge challenge.
Yaf Y. The same family values that lots of other people have? What if my white non religious parents told me to only marry non religious, stay away from a Jew or Muslim or Hindu?
It's a religious reason that Jews are not allowed to intermarry. It's talked about in scripture. It's also why we're still a nation. It doesn't mean we don't like non-jews. Both of my parents worked with non-Jewish people who were really nice.
This man a holicaust survivor in this documentary is absolutely inspiring I love his honest and humble way of showing what he had gone through and what he lost for his heritage and faith. Beautiful family. Very touching.

A Rabbi? Aren't those the same dudes that cut a baby's penis and then suck on it?
I really like the old guy, he seems really nice bless him and he's been through so much.
stephyclaws I liked him too!

The modern orthodox woman was such a Jewish mother when she went to open the door saying “have a pickled cucumber”!

this documentary is an absolute joy and blessing to watch. Jack is my hero. He is so strong
You spelled joke and bastardisation of innocent children wrong.
Yes I would adopt Jack as my grandad. If he didn't already have some. God bless.
J.London ua-cam.com/video/b98ch_Pyi-Y/v-deo.html
As follows:
Japheth = Reptilian (Cain's descendants, royal bloodline)
Shem = Human
Ham = Giants (so-called aliens)
Note: Some of the Reptilians call themselves Jewish. Hence, it causes confusion between ruler Jews and Human Jews.
Ohhh I could listen to that sweet man all day.
I had Jewish neighbors explaining to me that they couldn't light a match, turn the light on etc.. one day. I just kept nodding my head thinking why are they telling me this?! Finally like an hour later I offered to light the candle for them. They smiled so big. It was hilarious, to me! 😂
Miss Kealoha Hahahaha better late than never!
hilarious. we all learn... eventually..
Shabbat maybe ?
If it was a Friday it was Shabat! My late mum worked for an Orthodox family for nearly 30 years, one Friday she was a bit late leaving and the fuse box in the house tripped, it was about 4pm in December and just turning dark, the lady of the house had to ask Mum to flip the switch on again before she left.....
It's a madhouse - have a pickled cucumber! The best one liner in TV-history 👍😂
Bernette is a star 🌟
Yep:) here in maryland, we are all verry close
I loved this programme it's lovely to see real families having fun, This is so nice to see all these generations celebrating together, It's also nice to see just because some practise their faith in a stricter manner, They don't make a big deal out of the ones whom choose not to. I like that, It shows diversity & tolerance, really enjoying this glimpse in the jewish faith!
This old man is so nice isn't he? Good person. Face says everything!

seem like really good people with a great sense of community and a love for life and family spreading a lot of happiness and joy.

obviously everyone portrays thier "good side"when one is being filmed for a documentry series.
It is so wonderful that the older man said living in England was Paradise. God bless him.

It all came flooding back when I saw parts where Jack was talking.

anyway we had a few muslim brothers and others Italian korean Japanese and one old jew but what a character of a man he was!
he was a small framed man but lit room instantly and had best sales by far working less days then the young guns
and he was very aware and so through a lot like an expert untouched tho lookin beat at the maltreatment at times from some..
and he was always kind to me..he’s the one that showed me a newspaper headlined somethin “taliban links to 12 lost tribes”
and the taliban spokesmen agreeing with this fax with proofs of old traditions held at time still without knowing exactly why since it’s not exactly islamic
Omg, I love her (Bernette Clark)attitude!!! so much enthusiasm!
Needs her own show!
As a Christian this was wonderful to watch. I don't understand the hatred in the comments though. All 3 Abrahamic religions say to love your neighbor, love the covert, and pray for enemies. But not many on this feed of any faith seems to have grasped that. Interesting.

Because humans are what they are and NO beliefs in God will change human behavior..
Because deep inside they really don't believe
islam is based on destruction.
We could learn a lot from them
It's trauma based mind control, same as the Christian water boarding of a babe.
When Jack got sad I got sad what an amazing man with incredible spirit
Bernette is precious. Her accent is amazing, reminds me of my family's from the midlands.
That adorable grandpa’s story brought me tears so hard I had to pause the video.
Not sure why I'm drawn to keep coming back and watching this. There just seems to be a pure joy for their lives that is rarely seen these days. Always feel better after watching it... hopeful, I guess.
"how cute is that? MARRIED!"
How cute is she?!
She has a vagina and working womb in good order? That's enough. To men who don't get any before they marry, even the average Jewish girtl can seem attractive. With them, it's not about love, but family. And if you are in love after some decades of marriage, that's just a happy accident.

I imagine so; since it is a majority Muslim country.
Namaste.
Ahmed Yusuf Ahmed May God be gracious unto you.

Really interesting!Really glad to see the Jewish community in Manchester thriving. As a Catholic I respect them and their culture.
Michael and bernette Clarke! Irish and Jewish. Both hilarious. Give them their own show.

How about when he said Manchester was paradise?
Jack is really a special person, he reminds me of my grandfather. I would like to hug him.

i wonder why hatered only exists when it comes to documentaries about muslims and their traditions here in Real Stories , while the comment section below is full of positive feedbacks and opinions about Jews and their religious practices.I mean that's a good thing to see nice comments instead of hatered. Every culture and religion has it's own inexplicable ways to be celebrated.. My point is , you people who hate on Islam or any other religion, you gotta respect people's backgrounds because it's your duty , not just out of courtesy. I'm not religious, but I've done this a few times while staying with religious families. It's actually pretty nice because you see all the members of your community in synagogue in the morning, and then spend the whole day with your family after that. you can read, kids can play, and normally you just get to catch up with everyone and eat all day. such a moving documentary. beautifully done! with all the wrongs in this world, nice to see people keeping to themselves and observing what they see fit. cant equate anything nice with a horrific thing from the opposite end - they all have their own space and place. awareness and coexistence is the way to go. alas, people forget that little knowledge is dangerous. moment they step out of their little cubicle, world is big and more understanding.

King Bulan decided if he instructed his people
to convert to Judaism he could keep both the Muslims and the Christians happy, as they were both already willing to trade with the Jews, so this is what he did.
The old man his story really pulled my heart strings. That is so sad!
Emma E, what would be their reason for saying that?
It's a religious reason that Jews are not allowed to intermarry. It's talked about in scripture. It's also why we're still a nation. It doesn't mean we don't like non-jews. Both of my parents worked with non-Jewish people who were really nice.
