Also, I get asked a lot about how I organize my homeschool printables and materials so I’m showing you guys where I keep everything and how I make it all work!

I’ll go first:
I’m Christina. I’m married to my best friend, Seth, we have 5 kids (ages 2, 3, 6, 10, & 14), and love our family, Jesus, and adventuring together.
We are passionate about being counter culture, including alternatives to traditional schooling. I have experience as a public school teacher, private school teacher, and homeschool mom!
I love the Charlotte Mason education approach, and many others, but I’d say I’m more of an eclectic teacher-mixing the different aspects of homeschool styles that I love-living books, literature-based learning, Montessori, and so much more!
Whether you are considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, considering alternative ways to educate your child, or just looking for some encouragement and inspiration for your motherhood journey, I hope you feel welcome and encouraged here 🤍

Oh I’m so glad it was helpful! Welcome!!
We’ve not yet worked out how to include my 4 year old and love the ideas!!! We do put toys in the playroom that goes with what our older kids are learning!!!
I hope this helps!
I LOVE this video. I am so inspired. I defintiely want to check out those knowledge crates. And, I LOVE your dress:)
Thank you friend!
Great tips! Love your set-up. Thanks for sharing!
I'd love to see your children's notebooks after this unit if you're able to show! Notebooking is the best...I even enjoy doing it for my own learning:) And your whole set-up is just so warm. Thank you for making videos...you are so sweet and inspiring!
Great idea! I’ve been meaning to do a notebooking update!
Thank you for sharing us! There are so many resources out there and you have pulled them all together perfectly!!!

You’re so welcome!
When I taught, I stored my stuff in big Ziploc baggies too.
That makes me feel better Ashlea! 🤣
Great organizational tips! 😊
Thanks!
We are working on an oceans unit study right now! I love concluding with an actual ocean beach trip, so we have that to look forward to in 2 weeks. My kids learned the 5 oceans with a song (I have auditory learners) it goes like this: 🎵🎶 There are 5, there are 5. oceans, oceans. Pacific and Atlantic, Indian and Arctic, Southern too, Southern too 🎶🎵. (To the tune of "Are you sleeping?")
Love this! We leave for the ocean this weekend!
@@RootedHomeLife That's so great! The beach is like a giant sensory bin for ocean studies 😆 Enjoy your ocean field trip!
Do u follow a schedule of what you teach daily and time for each grade/age or does it vary at times? Thank you!
Great video! I'm new here 😊 happy to have found your chanel!
Thank you! And welcome!!
Do you know why The Land of Storybooks is switching? Would one need to purchase the story book on the side from somewhere else if not digital??
The price was keeping people from being able to purchase, but the cost of the box made it impossible to lower it anymore! They were actually losing money on them!! The book comes in the physical boxes!
Hi! My name is Charlotte. I have 4 kiddos my 20 yr old which is now graduated in 2020. My 16 yr old, 8 yr old and my 15month old baby girl which we lost last yr due to severe life threatening health conditions. My kiddos did online public school at home the last couple yrs or so. I've decided to homeschool my 2 younger boys this year. 16 yr old 10th grade and 8 yr old 2nd grade. So many choices, resources and ways to school. Any suggestions would be most helpful! Thank you!
