The Early History of Mt. Airy Presented by Larry Valett

Larry Valett, Vice President of the Historical Society of Mt. Airy, has recently written a book on the early history of Mt. Airy, published by the Mt. Airy Historical Society. He shares interesting stories from his research for this informative talk. Valett is retired and has lived in Mt. Airy for 32 years. He served as chair of the Save the Flat Iron Building Task Force. He is a model train enthusiast and active community volunteer.
