@@seanpvs101moviesproduction3 John K and Bob Camp are both pretty good artists. You gotta put your bitterness aside. It's like saying Roman Polanski isn't a good movie director because of his crimes.
Like before Adult Party Cartoon I always thought that John K was the driving force behind Ren and Stimpy but after that mess of a show I went back and started to see this "Bob Camp" guy on the credits on the originals. And i came to realize that Ren and Stimpy needed Bob to really work as a show and he really doesn't get enough credit for creating one of the greatest cartoons of all time.
Nah, Ren and Stimpy is John K through and through. It was terrible without him, the characters aren't the same, and art wasn't as good, except maybe for the background paintings. The Adult Party version is underrated, it's like Scary Movie/Family Guy humor in it.
Camp was offered a lesser role and declined. They wouldn't let him produce the show again because he didn't fit the quotas they have in place in Hollywood, now. Although, ideally, John K would have been a much better choice, since Ren and Stimpy is better when he oversaw it. When Camp oversaw it all it, it was nowhere near as good, the characters personalities and the direction was really off. I missed the way Ren and Stimpy interacted under John K.
You know I actually liked Bob Camp’s episodes more than John K’s don’t get me wrong. But Bob’s episodes were way more tolerable to watch. I just wish he received more credit for all the great things he has done.
His contributions to animation are gigantic. There needs to be an industry level animation award show. He deserves so so much more recognition.
At least Bob camp is way Better than John K.
There is the Winsor McCay award, by ASFIA, for life long achievement in animation.

The best of R&S was when Spumco functioned as whole. Had they remained together, I would have loved to have watched 9 seasons of the original R&S run.

@@ricardocantoral7672 I liked it better when they went darker with the adult version without Bob Camp, although Camp's art is great.
Spongebob is proof that you don't have to constantly be edgy and outrageous to be hilarious.
Awesome, thanks for posting
Bob Camp should Reboot Ren and Stimpy instead of John K
That would be awesome
Yeah. He should be the showrunner/head writer of the upcoming reboot for Paramount+. (Was gonna be on Comedy Central)
