Earth Defense Force 4.1 The Shadow Of New Despair is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of military soldiers defending cities from giant insects and aliens. I love how they never bothered to spend time on things like lore and worldbuilding and focused mainly on blasting giant insects. In the first mission, they didn't spend hours on cutscenes explaining the lore but instead gave you a 20 second clip basically telling you "Giant bugs are killing people and you gotta fight".

At least they call them Insects in 4.1. In EDF 5 it's "Alien Species Alpha", "Alien Species Beta", and "Alien Species Gamma". The civilian finally gets a good mic though.

I don't know what is the hector mean when I first played this game. According the internet,
1. (talk to (someone) in a bullying way.
"she doesn't hector us about giving up things") huh interesting🤔
2.(What does Hector mean in Latin?
