That’s a nice trip Gita, I like to watch you go out and shop. You make your own non stick surface by using the pans. Cooking tomatoes the acid will ruin the cured coating. Best cooked in stainless steel. He has a great collection.

Gita ji small doubt which kadai is best for deep frying like for fryms papads etc. Can we scrape the cast iron kadai after using it for frying with steel scrub to remove the grease.

I first bought a silicone one, and it was non-stick and I liked it for the zero oil, but it wasn't worth it because nothing browns and crisps in silicone. I have returned to my cast iron pan.

yes you can wash with scrubber and dishwash,. I prefer cast iron for all cooking
