    False alarm on the HYssop I thought I found in the yard... I was wrong. Flower was wrong. I did however find some Mallow. Flower is right and so are the leaves. Something else to learn now.

    Hi, I'm new to your chanel, think it will be fine, but my hyssop didn't have much flowering, (1st year plant), oct now & i

      Personally I feel the flower adds a lot to the medicine. I would also be concerned about stressing out this perennial plant before it goes into dormancy. Just my two cents of course!

      It is in the mint family so quite lovely as a tea. You could also infuse some in honey, make an oxymel or even a tincture. Lots of great options!

      I do find they like a decent trim in the very early spring or fall. Or else they get a bit woody. @@withlovefrommariah

    My hyssop has huge leaves compared to yours. After watching your video, l had to confirm mine were also hyssop😅

    this plant use full for varicose veins

      That is not an area where I would personally use this plant. It's not the best vascular tonic. There are others that are better.

    Thankyou I live in a USDA zone 3 so it can be hard to find some perennial herbs as a beginner gardener who is interested in medicinal plants.
