@@hallymiao2825 yeah we use hotkeys. most of us have some grasp of build orders and the fundamentals as well, but micro just doesent happen and macro goes to pieces past the 3 minute mark. thats the problem with most silver league players including myself
This is why I love low league games. In that first one, nasum had so clearly, decisively won once they were 15 workers to their opponent's 1. Despite an insane advantage for most of the rest of the game, they somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
The win of DanceJunkie was fun and epic. So close to loosing at any point, but he did not give up and even managed to make this a win with his marines.
Bruh, that nasum guy should just honestly give up on playing SC2. I don't like to be toxic, but after that cheese and the fact that the red guy made so many mistakes, the game should've been over in 6 minutes. At the end nasum even lost which is just mind breaking. If I was him I'd just give up on PVP at that point.

Hey Lowko, I'm not sure if you caught it but nasum's APM did drop to 0 and was not producing anything for quite a while around 12:22 when he lost the BCs, so it's safe to assume he went AFK and may have also experienced some slight hair loss.
It actually dropped to 0 and went back up most of the game. Include the middle where Red macroed his way back into the game... Well, sorta: Blue could've won at any point except for the last minute, if a competent played had been in command. Like, Lowko with one hand could've still won if he'd jumped in there.
23:34 the scouting nydus worm, cuz he barely gets any vision with the same overlord he used to plant the nydus. Then his response seeing the stargate is getting spire. This replay is absolutely gold
I always build Spire against P just because in lower leagues it's absolutely inevitable they'll be going Skytoss (or trying to). There's no point in scouting and I've very seldom got it wrong.
That I can get. I tried to play SC2 years ago, honestly just for a couple hours, and did just about as bad. I'd be focusing on one area, and I wasn't tuned into the 'your units are under attack' sound and I'd be short a mineral line or my army or something stupid.
He was afk, did you not see the 0 production and 0 apm for multiple minutes? Looks like he afked, then eventually went 'eh I guess I'll build some stuff' when he came back
See, I'd laugh, but I'm mostly the same most likely. Haven't played a real match since 6 years ago probably. I used to be good at managing the map at one point, but I was barely gold on 1v1 and plat on 2v2 and 3v3 and that was because my mates are better than me. So yeah, I'd probably get flustered with the amount of things happening sometimes. But that dude was clearly either afk a lot, or lagging or something. Cause when that happened nothing else was going on.
I think my favourite moment was the Proxy Engineering Bay that appeared in a match I played in a few months ago. Absolutely legendary. Other honourable mentions include the Protoss Macro Nexus, the Proxy Twilight Council and someone who went mass Queens with no creep. I've seen dead people move quicker than that.
I wouldn't even call Dancemonkey bad. Sure, he didn't react well to that scv rush, but that's entirely excusable for an inexperienced player. Once he got his feet under him and started producing stuff again, he played a decent game for his level without any aggressively stupid mistakes.
That’s how learning works. By copying what the pros do, you leave out what makes their strategies work. By learning from the mistakes of others, you can put yourself in that position and say “if I get in that position I know what not to do” The fact is, people are better at identifying what makes something bad than what makes something good.
@@mchsprod Yeah that's true! There's much more to learn from pro games when top players commentate them, since the quality of the analysis (which is the important part for learning, not the level or quality of play in the example) is better. Commentators who aren't top players are much better at giving insight into mistakes than correct play, which makes mistakes (and therefore lower-level play) better learning examples.
