Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 is considered the BEST Call of Duty of all time and maybe one of the best multiplayer FPS games of all time as well.

There's still barely any servers but I am hoping that changes.
You have to play a match and the servers usually populate. You also will need to pay attention to the time of day because that can play a factor

i dont understand why activison cant just leave people alone if people want to play old cod let them play it your not losing money people are still gonna play the new cods it’s not like the whole cod community is going to play this just let us have nice things for once 😭
Because they want their new cods to sell no matter what. Even if 100 people that don’t wanna buy bo6 and wanna play an old call of duty, they consider that missed opportunity
I get the point as a fan, but from a business perspective: either you defend your copyright, or lose it (in a nutshell). Either way, we need more players since it’s actually a lot of fun

My MWR was already refunded.. I’m not buying it again to play this mod nor will I buy ANY future COD title. I’m completely done spending money on the franchise..

Nice 😂. I was pretty stoked to play H2M but I just can’t fathom giving Activision a dime after they put the game on sale and rug pulled hours before the mod was gonna launch. I hope the new mod thrives though 🤙🏼
If you didn’t delete the game you still have the files
you can buy the game, install the game, and then refund it but keep the files on your pc

To be honest I thought the mod wasn’t going to last, it’s amazing that this could potentially revive the game!
The biggest issue is that it has unlock all and too few servers with regular gameplay like 6v6 DOM etc.
I agree that the unlock all isn’t great, but I think the servers/players is a community problem. If even 2,000 people downloaded to play this, then we would have at least a small community
This is very cool I’m saving up for a full and decent gaming PC for sure
Honestly (and I’m aware PCs can be expensive) in the grand scheme of things the hardware to run a game like this shouldn’t cost much. If you want to “future proof” your PC to outlast a console generation, save that money up brotha! 🫡

Sadly Servers are dead, mostly on sunday there are only 2 full servers.
@@umutyagci8108 it honestly depends on the time of day. I’ve seen 8-10 full servers at a time. It comes down to the community and WANTING to play it over the slop that will be BO6

i gave the game a try, but i began having some lag issues, probably due to high ping (250 on average). There were some with 140 ping
@@foxyin_1168 you have to sort by ping. I also told another viewer that it may depend on the time of day as well
If they can keep the hackers away, I'll play this for sure.
So far the hackers are a minimum. Because there are separate servers monitored by people, you can usual report someone in the server and if they get 5 reports they get booted

I’m only getting 10 servers when I boot it up :(. Is it because I didn’t delete h2m and it’s bugged?
It depends on the time of day, if you play on a Friday or Saturday you’re most likely able to get more players on the servers. Shouldn’t have anything to do with h2m
also make sure to refresh the servers and sort, you might need to play a match and then once that match ends try to check the servers - worked for me and my friend.

I mean that’s your own decision to download. I’ve personally scanned my PC a few times with h2m and horizonmw and haven’t come across anything.

@@TheJaviSkate yeah but is it over sensitive or is it flagging malware? Most antivirus will flag any program but it needs to specify what it is

I would say yes, but now the launcher and the entire mod is open source, meaning that anyone can pick the mod back up and update it. The cat is out of the bag, so to speak
